What are you talking about? The typical AAA game does, in fact, have a 4-10 year dev cycle. As mentioned, the tighter typical time frame is 4-7 years but it is becoming increasingly common to see devs edge projects to 8-10 years as well. Of course, there will be simpler titles that are as little as 2-3 years. I don't count the monstrosity that is Ubisoft and its massive workforce, cookie cutter, and poor release state titles in this typical scenario as they fall outside it, obviously.Exhibit 999999999 of person talking shit about about another person, related to something they themselves have no goddamn clue about:
