On a somewhat related note shouldn't the description on here be updated?
Fallen Doll: Operation Lovecraft is a full 3D game made with the Unreal Engine, with desktop and virtual reality supports. It features women and female androids being fucked by various alien monsters and human males in a decerebrate state (called dreamers). Currently, the game is only a sex simulator, but it is expected to evolve to a full game with a single and multiplayer modes in 2022.
As implied by the title, Operation Lovecraft takes its inspiration from the science fiction universe created by H. P. Lovecraft.
This game doesn't support VR anymore and they no longer plan to expand beyond a sex sim, let alone by 2022.

HELIUS is going HARD on Patreon.
Both youtube videos have been posted, and out of nowhere he started posting again lol
Even if Helius tries to actually put in work now nothing will change because the game is still an online only gacha trash porn game. If the Project Helius team came under fire due to those videos, it'll be even worse once the game is out of closed beta and a large amount of people can actually get their hands on the game. Their moderators censoring critique and any kind of negative opinions on Discord and in the Steam forum won't stop people from leaving honest reviews.

I genuinely would be surprised if this game has a decent sized playerbase after a year or two after the game leaves closed beta. And considering you practically need other players to make any progress, once the playerbase starts dying down even more people will stop playing since it'll be annoying to make any progress with so little people playing.

I'm willing to bet my ass on that they're not going full scale release partly because in that case more down-to-earth people will find out how much of a piece of shit this game is and leave reviews in accordance, possibly making their patreon cash cows come to their senses as well.

100%, they're fully taking advantage of the fact they can currently hide any negativity on Steam and stick to portraying the game as something it isn't. The fact the demo showcases Gallery mode which is pretty much abandoned now helps them lure in people to their Patreon, which still doesn't accurately describe what kind of game Fallen Doll has become over the years. The Steam page still says single player and VR support, no mention of Denuvo from what I've last seen, and no mention of it being online only.

Honestly, I'm starting to think the entire team behind Project Helius is shady. At first I thought it was just Helius since he's at the reigns, but it doesn't seem like the other team members are putting in any real effort to clarify things, they just leave it as it is so things can continue as they are. And Steam and Patreon are kind of shit as well for allowing developers to pull these kind of schemes on their platforms.

Bold of you to assume it's ever existing "Closed Beta"

Given that they're going f2p a release will kill their Patreon anyway, nobody is going to pay for a free game on Patreon. Steam also require use of the wallet API for in game purchases so they couldn't keep selling perks via Patreon post-release either.

I think the real clincher though is that Steam's EA requirements regarding accurately describing the current state of your game extend to third party sites where it is sold or advertised.
