What is the description of this game now? Real-time rogue-like xcom PVP card battler strategy game? Really rolls off the tongue.It's genuinely impressive that core elements of the game have been in development for this long without so much as screenshots, short video or even a coherent description of how its meant to work yet some people still believe it exists and is totally just around the corner.
Same goes for Galatea. That is obviously a no no from Steam and has been from the very beginning, what sort of thirsty morons have long term subs with this dev and believe any of this nonsense? The most that can be hoped for is more models and animations, since that's all Helius seems to be capable of, but even then if it's locked behind badly designed and overly aggressive monetization systems even that is pretty useless.

Since they love mobile game mechanics so much it could be one of those things where you play against someone's character, basically still fighting the AI but with that person's loadout. I bet they'll add cooldowns on PvP and paid power-ups and all the usual things. And all before any new animations (ok maybe 1-2 animations or some clothing that's actually an asset flip).

It was Daisy in Summer. First discussed on ZOD in 2014 shortly after UE4 was released under the new licensing model and I think the first public builds were shown off in 2015.
But tbf that was actually a tech demo. After that I think the game was called Project Helius briefly but another game existed with the same title so the studio got called ProjectH, grrr0087 started calling himself "Helius" and the game itself was renamed to Fallen Doll. This all happened before 2016 which is just when Patreon launched their adult games category.
Personally I'd count all of it as the same project irrespective of name changes given that its always just been the same ongoing work rolled up into the next rebuild/roadmap.

Rebranding... Correct me if I'm wrong but If they want to escape the debt they need to leave the IPs behind, that means they lose access to all assets that they have created in the past. They can't use them, they are owned by some bank or whomever was investing in them. They reused a lot from past games so that means the games/sims will be much smaller but also most probably studio neo is gone.
Another issue is financing, after doing what they did who is gonna invest in them ? I have the feeling they will be going crowdfunding route....
