I would not have much hope that he remove denuvo, the second the game stop being profitable he will just shutdown the servers and say it's hater fault somehow, and probably move on to a new project.
The only desperate people here are the one still complaining about the state of the game or about what was said/promised long ago. The reality is different: the game is a GaaS, they want you to log in every day and not just to fap, they want you to work towards unlocking content through gameplay, it's as simple as that.
Now, either you're fine with it and you buy it (it's 35 bucks plus taxes, one-time purchase), or you're not fine with it and you don't fekkin' buy it. Period.
Personally, I bought it for what it is and I'm enjoying it. Quality is there, content is there (at least for me, I'm new). Communication and transparency are not, but Idgaf.
I've been seriously fekked in the ass in the past by "legit games" made by renowned AAA companies and for way more money. This is nothing.
So, folks, if you're like me, take my advice: stop complaining (700 pages of nothing but that in here) and treat yourselves to some good p0rn. Or don't. Either way it's fine and ultimately no one cares, really...it took me a while to understand this simple yet profound truth. I hope you have a good day!

Mind you, they come here from time to time to preemptively ban usernames and/or try to counter the negative trend. One of their yes men told us my username was banned there when I don't even have a Discord user under this alias
It's not that serious, that guy was seriously stretching by the time he got to that third video.
Like I'm 100% no fan of Helius, he's an incompetent dev and 95% of this project is just spit and tape holding together some purchased assets, but there's nothing to suggest there is or has ever been any such content in that Discord. Suggesting that they just don't moderate a channel is irresponsible but to equate it to explicitly permitting or encouraging child pornography is reprehensible clickbaiting by that YouTuber.

But since i was browsing the site anyway, i would like to give my 2 cents to that thing.
If you would shut down all sites on the internet that had cp posted on them by some idiot, the internet you know, wouldnt exist anymore. (that could actually be a good thing but thats not the point ,) )
Google, Bing, Instagramm, Facebook, Twitter, you name it, any imageboard any pornsite with upload content, any site with picture upload abillity will have had at some point in time some cp uploaded to them.
Google and bing were even the biggest sharer of cp at one point in time due to their unfiltered image searches....
also probably due to the fact that a lot of what is now illegal was legal around 20 years ago in regards of just nudity or posing.
That is just a fact.
Most sites have now upload filters installed and im sure Discord has something like that too.
As we are now in the dawn of AI CG a new challenge has arisen and upload filters that are based on hashes arent up to the task anymore and site will have to resort to ai filters themself... but those have to be trained themselve of course that will take time.
So there is bound to get some shit on your site, channel, board, chat, etc. that has to be cleared by mods.
Its pure malice and an lousy attempt at gaining clicks to spew filthy acusations of mass and wanted cp on any moderated discord channel, as all involved would incriminate themself.
If there were such a filthy thing going on mass and not moderated, im sure that Discord and authorities would/will take care of it.
Another example of the bullshit level of these vids, is his basis for proof that this a scam, which is also total bullshit.
His source is a butthurt translator, that claimed that there were no further text to translate so therefor there cant be further development progress, he isnt aware of.
That is complete bullshit!
Translations are more or less the last thing you do in game development and are not needed for any programming development stage.
The only input a game dev team might consider are technical issues like text boxes not big enough for text for example or if something doesent really makes sense in a language.
Most Game Studios just send excel files to professional translation services and then those texts get maybe some testing so is something isnt really fitting in the game context when translated purely text base things need fixing and talking.
So the translator source is therefor nothing but a butthurt fanboy that seeks revenge. As are most haters here that have spent more than they should have on this dumbster fire and have now buyers regret or are simps that just cant let loose.
Not that i wanna defend the Dev, the development is flawed and more of an amusement disaster to watch at this point.
But if something has less quality than project lovecraft, its those yt vids.
As for scam thing there is something like gamedevelopment hell and some games have very famously suffered from it and never delivered what was promised or teased. There really is no shortage of that but so is no shortage in sight of what fanboys dream up they get when they buy into these things and in what time frame and of course no risk of failing comes to their minds.
That said for the around 30 bucks one has to pay, everyone can decide themself if that is too much or not by buying into it or not. Noone has a gun at his temple and is pressured to pay more for this animation gallery and anyone that is paying for content that doesent exists and then is butthurt and cant let go that it doesent see the light of day should probably think about his own choices.

I will just add to this that this doesn't take much time these days. I can train a simple CNN based classifier with >99% accuracy and virtually 0% false negative rate in a few minutes on a single workstation. Data prep is a little bit more involved to eliminate biases but it barely counts as a challenge if your main concern is identifying a single class.
Sites have accordingly been using this approach over (or more accurately in combination with) hashes for years. There is an issue with adversarial networks trained to mask images and mess with classification, see the University of Chicago's Nightshade as an example, but that's a whole different ball game.
I think this is a little disingenuous as well, not everybody paid for an animation gallery. The game was originally advertised as something completely different and even now any user that visits the Steam store page certainly isn't going to be expecting a F2P animation viewer from descriptions like this:
