I only ask cause I am getting this error using the file downloaded from page one, I've tried launching the standard exe and the launcher getting the same error for both versions. Not sure If there is anything specific I have to do to make it work. Should I try uninstalling and redownloading the files?
Honestly Ive also been getting errors while launching the cracked version and redownloading the files did nothing I have been aching for some answers

Are you launching the correct .exe?
What's the error specifically?

Installation:
Start with Launch.bat or Paralogue\Binaries\Win64\KiritoMod049.exe

Troubleshooting:
  • On windows 7 you'll get missing "api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll" error.
Download it from and copy to Paralogue\Binaries\Win64 folder.
  • To fix blurry textures add r.Streaming.PoolSize=0 to the Engine.ini in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Paralogue\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor folder.

the creators of this game literally have paid shills, this version of the game is likely the most complete and stable build there will ever be. this dev is the epitome of the patreon grift

I don't think they're "paid shills", it's more like "paying shills" fully drench in sunk cost fallacy if you ask me (or many in the thread for that matter).
Doesn't need to be the case. People like potential and this game has (or rather had) lots of it. Good character design and models + neat animations + niche fetishes like monsters and bestiality = win. It's the same why Star Citizen is so successful and gets by by selling pictures of ships that don't exist yet for hundreds of even thousands of dollars. People are invested because they found something that appeals to them but doesn't exist on the market yet and they have the feeling they're playing an important part in realizing said potential.

Then you have echo chambers constructed around these projects, both positive and negative ones, i.e. haters and fanboys. The devs usually prefer fanboys over haters for obvious reasons. While it's obviously not productive to listen to haters, the amount of lovebombing devs receive from their fans makes them paranoid that any negative words about them or their project must come from the haters. After all, if so many people are loving you and saying that you can't do anything wrong, this must be true. But this works the other way around, too. If a place decided the whole project a scam any positive words are likely to be branded as the words of a shill. Which doesn't really make sense because fanboys praise and defend whatever they like for free.

That being said this specific game is dead in the water. Doesn't matter if the devs are intentionally scamming people or not because functionally they are.

Then why did you say something?

Are you going to be fucking badgering everyone who posts about this now?
You've made your fucking point.
Pretty clearly: 2,538 words 14,308 characters, in your last comment.
Enough.
FYI, I'm not badgering "everyone". I responded to Purple's bullshit then you two responded to me in a rude manner. Apparently I'm supposed to be like, cool, fuck me or something. Oh wait, one of the two of you (the other random outed as an alt account) literally said that. /s

Maybe if people weren't making off the wall bizarre spiteful posts, for literally no fucking reason, or going mega-stalker and making up entire fictional fairy tails with like 5 fucking sequels of Cried Wolf like Purple I wouldn't even need to say anything.

I do agree, take my comment more as an expresion rather than a description, in fact I do agree so much with your logic/statement that it kinda described me in a couple of times I got an early access game despite having a self-imposed rule about those things.

However though, I do agree but can't shake the tought of "how much of these echo-chamber people do act as the mantioned paying shills?", what I mean, I've seen many people that defend this game and some are almost cult-like or shills if you will, so am I too far wrong for thinking the way I do?, honest question btw.

A shill is usually a paid actor that has no interest other than money. You get paid for promoting something and that's it. It's someone posing as a fan. A fan however is genuine in that he believes whatever he's a fan of deserves promoting, they do it for free. If you want to be precise about definitions, that is - nowadays shill usually means something like fanboy so there's that.

People do get emotionally invested for many different reasons. Sunk cost is one thing, but there's also a lot of people that genuinely believe in the project, dev, artist or w/e and are willing to pay to see it coming to fruition. These people also tend to form echochambers and nowadays everyone's paranoid. If you like something you're a shill, if you dislike something you're a hater. For a fan of the game this thread might also look somewhat cult-ish from the outside. Simply because you get a lot of social cred here for shitting on the game, the supporters and the devs.

If you download the latest version of the game that's available here, it's imo obvious why some people fall for this. I would like to see the devs turn this ship around and deliver a good h-game but I don't see that happening. Which is a bummer because there's almost zero games with fetishes (monster/bestiality) and production values (talking strictly about graphics, character design and animations) like this failed project.

From your wall text posts:
" It is ill advised to speak in ways that make you look like an idiot. "
" you would not be looking stupid now "
"It simply isn't worth it to deal with idiots. "

Wtf did I say that was rude?
Aggressive sure, but not rude.
That was you..
I am surpised to learn someone is actually reading those(wall text) posts, especially since I know they are full of bs. Your bs tolerance must be very high.

Yeah, my "alt account" is 4 years older than my "main account". That makes perfect sense. Schizo moment.

All I did was search your user name within this thread. Took me less than a minute to screenshot your posts to expose your bs.

and making up entire fictional fairy tails with like 5 fucking sequels of Cried Wolf like Purple
All I did was screenshot your own posts :KEK: If you are serious about your "fairy tale" claim then don't write fairy tales in your posts. Who knows, someone could use them against you in the future :KEK:

Please, until you graduate past the 2nd grade and can spell your own
I speak 3 different languages you lab-engineered dickhead :LUL:

You've completely failed to even articulate how I'm a shill which was debunked. In fact, you couldn't even dispute the counter argument I threw at you.
I don't need to demonstrate this, because a simple look through your post history on this thread will speak for itself.*

*See here for reference

Again, Bob, fuck off, and just admit you're shilling hard, you'll feel better afterwards :WeSmart:

Failed? From what perspective? The game has been in Patreon's top earning and steam's top wishlisted rank for quite some time.

I come back months later to laff at whatever the latest Scamlius antic is just to find the regulars still bothering with the local troll :HideThePain:
That guy is not even worth reading and much less replying to.
I've been having a lot of fun with Mad Island, a different thing altogether, but at least, it actually is a game.
Also fuck Maduro.

Agree, considering the average 3D game of this nature lacks the visuals (but ussually have way more "gameplay") I do agree this is pretty much a great hook/bait.

Also noted on the difference between shill and uhmm, fanboy(?), still both cases are pretty bad if you ask me.
