I subscribed to the highest Patreon tier for Operation Lovecraft: Fallen Doll at $295 and tried it for a day. Here’s my take:
Content: The game’s packed with H-scenes, outfits, and accessories. But unlocking them? Insanely expensive. Even with $295, I doubt you’d unlock half the current content.
Grind: There are 7 characters, each with a 50-level Research Pass. You’re capped at 11 levels per week due to limited EXP. Want to speed up? It’s 10 NEP per level (1 USD = 8 NEP). Tons of outfits and accessories are NEP-only.
Gameplay: No real story or engaging mechanics—just replaying H-scenes and grinding Research Points. Advanced customization (pubic hair, belly tattoos, etc.) requires grinding affection points per character. It’s painfully slow without paying for items.
Subscriber Count: Here’s the wild part—around 76,000 people are reportedly subscribed to this game’s Patreon tiers (not sure if they’re all at my tier or across all levels). That’s a huge crowd for something like this!
Is it worth it? Honestly, no. You’re better off watching 3D videos on sites like Pornhub or modding Skyrim for way more customization and fun.
Why did I buy it? I was hoping for a next-gen game with top-tier graphics, maybe even a 3D anatomy reference or model library. As a modder/creator, I see some potential in its assets, but standalone models like these aren’t much cheaper anyway. It’s got stuff worth studying, but the price is steep.
What do you all think? Anyone else in those 76,000 members feeling the same? Let’s hear your thoughts!
