Honestly, it's genuinely disheartening to see people even consider spending money on a gacha porn "game." Out of the countless games and developers out there truly deserving of support, people choose this, a gacha, and not just any gacha, but a porn gacha. It really makes you wonder how bored, disillusioned, or mentally drained someone has to be to fall to that point.

Who is this "game" even aimed at, anyway? People with a mix of porn addiction and gambling tendencies? What a brilliant formula. No wonder Helius still manages to have supporters.

granted the games there are of... lets say, lesser quality. Think of mobile gacha games but with the budget of an used up condom.
So really if people are willing to pay and play a gacha game that has HCG's as a reward with some obnoxiously overly descriptive cringy dialogue (might as well play an eroge at that point, at least on an eroge you get character development) then a porn game """"""""approaching triple A quality"""""""""" with 3d models will make some bank, AND it also has the "advantage" of having monster stuff, so that's two different markets being targeted.
I personally think even paying money on a regular F2P gacha game is kinda dumb considering how shallow most of those things are, but at least its USUALLY cheaper than this shit is.
NIKKE is just a bad example because most gacha's worth their salt don't make you deal with RNG to get skins, azur lane is a good example, i think at most the skins can cost 15 dollars (L2D ones).

I didn't plan to buy the game, but Galatea tempted me...
I'll tell you what I got:
Steam key, 2 passes, game money.
Now about what I did in the game:
I spent one pass to immediately unlock Galatea.
I don't know what to spend money on anymore...
and for those who talk about gacha and grind - In one day of playing I watched all the animations I wanted (surprise! in the game when you like the person who plays the animation, the animation becomes available to you! You don't have to open them, right?)
In 4 days I unlocked all the animations I wanted and 4 costumes (costume? I want to see naked girls).

And now if anyone is interested, about the game:
-The girls are beautiful (I found my favorite)
-There are many animations
-Partners for every taste
Overall the game is a beautiful gallery.

I think whether to buy or not is a personal matter for everyone.

I don’t know how many developers you’ve supported. I don’t just support this game but many other developers as well. It’s funny how you’re trying to tear down one developer under the pretense of supporting others you deem more deserving. In a forum mostly filled with pirated content, a game that can’t be pirated is condemned, and instead of supporting it, you’re told to support other games by pirating them. It’s surprising how actively you’re pushing for this. You should become an activist for protecting game developers whose games get cracked.

While this is largely a piracy site and pretty much everyone is here is guilty as charged, some people DO end up thinking "this's game's pretty good" and go to the dev's patreon page and support them, its how we "freeloaders" get the updated versions in the first place .
Or maybe they like the dev and that's good enough reason to support the game even if its rough around the edges.
But I don't think he's "protecting" anyone, but at the same time, this """game""", you have to pay and then keep paying for the remaining pieces in order to actually unlock the full game. It's either that or waste weeks of your life (possibly months too) to do it the """"""""""""""""free""""""""""""""" way.
At least most of the other games here you pay once and that's that, future content is (usually) free and don't have no battle passes or rng's or gacha's or getting pegged by the developer over and over.

And I'm not white knighting anyone here, I never paid for a single game of this ""caliber"" in my life, and I wont do it either. But I can see / understand why in some instances some people would. This isn't one of those instances.

This is a public adult game forum, and I have every right to question whether the games discussed here are actually worth supporting. There are plenty of excellent adult games and developers out there who truly deserve that support, this game and its developer simply aren't among them.

That's just my opinion, of course. But based on posts from people who previously backed this game and dev, I doubt I'm too far off the mark. You're free to disagree.

Let's not forget that most of those "other games" will still be available to play even after the dev closes his patreon / fantia / subscribestar / fanbox (for X or Y reason) or just quits making games / updating said game. Since they are not tied to an online server and what have you (and no pissnuvo either)
Meanwhile this fuckin' thing like with all LaIVe SeRViCeEe games, once he pulls the plug its all over.

Ok I'm being cynical with that last remark but whatever.

Obviously that wont happen overnight, but it will one day. Another thing that can happen is that he goes the lazy route and just releases costumes after costumes after costumes and nothing else, which to ME I wouldn't consider that "worthwhile content" on this game.

But I just hope he at least has the decency to not go full FOMO on this thing, then again that's something his supporters will have to deal with that, not me.
Never trust gachas.

Only positive thing I can say about this game is that unlike cloud meadow, this at least gets content out.... and there's less drama.

Expansion pass unlocks some in game resources and 10 unique costumes sets for that character. I don't think you can get the costumes without paying for the pass.

From what I've gathered so far, scenes can be rolled/unlocked with free currency. Characters must be purchased with real money, but you can still play their sex scenes without buying them, you just cannot move around the map as those characters.

All gameplay is a gallery.
Scenes can be opened:
1-for game currency (given for daily tasks)
2-for free, if you click on the player who plays the animation (in this case it will be available for about 2 days)

If you buy a subscription for 35, you will be given currency and a pass. (In fact, it should be enough for 2 passes)

Although when I took a subscription for 45. I used only 1 pass (the rest of the gifts are still hanging unclaimed)

If we are talking about a girl + a guy, I agree with you.
But if we are talking about a girl + a creature, what alternatives do we have?
Wildlife? The animations there are really good. But the girls... The monsters in this game are more attractive than the girls, honestly...

The only alternative I see is Skyrim + mods. This is what surpasses most games of this theme.

I do think that this game is overpriced. But not so much that I would think that those who buy it are stupid.

As a result, everyone who buys a game pays first and foremost for their own pleasure. It is unlikely that there is a benefactor among us.
