No, this is the beta test build. Someone already shared their findings about the encryption keys here, go back some posts to find it.

I searched and i couldn't found, also i was talking about the AES key for the files of the torrent you shared, for the cracked version i already had, i can extract new ones easily with the AES finder but not when the files are protected, which is the case of this new torrent content. If anyone know where to find or have the key, please share it so at least we can view the content and extract it too.

Closed beta test = you either need to get invite or purchase the access. So i think it fits closed beta test terminology.
I know in the old times closed beta was something that was invite only but those times are gone and often enough access to beta is sold. Hell nowdays they even include alpha access in the supporter packs.

Greed knows no boundaries anymore even as crazy as the ways are they are millions of idiots existing playing it that way.
Else this practice would die really fast, normally you should be payed, for Multiplayer though the cost you will generate on the Server side is calculated into the overall beta testing cost and so you compensate the beta test double ways you pay part of the data cost and you pay for reporting problems

It's actually kind of sad what became of this game. The idea was there, the talent was there, I mean the game looks great, the physics are great, it could have really been something worthwhile. But the typical greed that is like the freaking bane of the adult videogame industry just destroyed it. I went from being pretty hyped for this to just losing all interest.

Buy in beta or early access didn't quite replace behind the doors testing. Else you might release your denuvo protected game with exe that does not have the protection applied....

I don't think it was invented by some office worker it either originates from influencers or competitive gaming.

Streamers/YT seek new games so naturally devs would offer them access to some early build of the game - they get views because it's game none has and the game gets publicity. And then people started begging publishers for access "Hey he is playing your game already , i want too , i will pay". People are impatient by nature

Competitive games - even if progression is reset beta access give you knowledge which means you can get ahead of the curve on release. Power sells.

You don´t really need a PhD in anything to see that you can profit off the impatience of people or wanting something exclusive, e.g. buying early access/beta. I doubt that for example express delivery in contrast to standard delivery or paying to get exclusive access to a VIP lounge in a club was invented by scientists.

I'm convinced PH told Valve only what they needed to know, nothing about how this game is being funded on Patreon or how people that invested money in such platform is going to earn benefits in the game without Valve knowing about it, or how the closed beta only works for those that PAYED outside Steam without the latter earing any cut on the profits. You can't buy the beta key on Steam, only on Patreon, remember this.

Devil hides in the details.
Subscription can be a fair model - it gives devs steady/predictable income that they can use to develop content and users have a steady stream of new content to enjoy without caveats.

But then the subscriptions can take form of season pass and is used to further psychologically entrap people.
Season pass often offer exclusive content and have very good value. Let's say normal cosmetic is 10$ well in season pass you will get 5 cosmetics for 10$ plus other shit. But here is the kicker you don't just get it, you need to log in daily or semi daily and play/grind to get those rewards essentially keeping yourself addicted. If you were to stop not only you would miss on the exclusive rewards but it would mean you wasted money by purchasing the pass.

When you see how a big amount of devs abuse it, yea it sucks ass.
Tiers for Cheats Subscription Tiers for uselessness Tiers for being an idiot they have all the time new ideas how to milk more and more out and Patreon is compliant of this.
Those are the Scum of our Society, you pay for something unfinished horrendous amounts in the END with the RISK it never gets finished.

And this needs to get more into Mass Media as well how this System works and how it manipulates and consumer's awareness strengthened what is happening there and how to detect when something is fishy or get a sense when someone is abusing their good will for supporting someone and make them understand that they finance a business idea not some hungry artist.

But yeah in that case Project Helius is still on the "At least we deliver something really of value" side and that's true but in the end you finance something which is build to bring others into even more dependencies and manipulate them and you as a "supporter" backer now are in this boat, you have been kept in the impression this boat moves another way, but its path changed over and over again getting greedier and greedier over time, because they understood they have control of you now, and they can do everything they want, you will follow (now you are suddenly being manipulated and abused without most probably even suspecting it).

That's a very shadowy side of Patreon this whole abuse which isn't always Scam.
Though the Scam side of it is huge as well, special organized groups abuse it as well where it is never intended to finish anything.
Some people see it as a business platform it was never intended to be that, at least not officially it was marketed as "Support Artists" since a long time it has nothing todo with this anymore.
Subscription Products and Scams are sold as well with the risk entirely on the users side and some things get planned this way (with full intent) to abuse the psychological part of some as much as possible for maximum earning.
Patreon needs heavier regulatory hurdles for this abuse to be successfully countered, especially the organized Scam Groups and their Manipulation Schemes.

I think the context here is extremely important, when you compare netflix or any other big streaming service that has actual use for subscriptions with consumers actually spending their time using the service, with a small dev team porn game, its pretty obvious why people are mad.

Operation Lovecraft was meant to be a pay once and play whenever game, and the people who supported them on patreon honestly were kind of in a weird situation, where the dev team kept saying "next month we'll release an update" and the patreons basically said "ok, ill wait", rinse and repeat about 6 months back from June to today, they've forced their patreons to adopt an online only game that they were also forced to wait for an unneeded 5 extra months, considering those extra months were dealing with steams beta test keys problem.

Comparing an actual service like Netflix which already has content and reason to spend money and more importantly time on, to an indie porn game that not only made their consumers wait for a feature no one asked for nor was advertised 6 months ago, but to also make them spend even MORE time to rack up ingame currency to even play the damn animations, its a spit in the face to their community, if you cant see whats wrong with that, then you should might as well pay for it and see for yourself.

Damn dude the discord is so dead after the ban waves. Like so many of the long time supporters/talkers are now either banned or keeping quiet to avoid one. Snooping this discord feels like watching an empty parking lot.

Now that they stopped pruning the negative steam posts that's also a pretty good place to watch people hate on the game I guess. I'd like to think they'll look at the backlash and address it, though really I just see them retreating further into their discord only mindset.
