Not surprised at all about the "progress report", they would have already teased it if they had something done. Given that in the "progress report" there is not a word about actual progress we can expect the rebuild won't be finished in 2022.
Anyone else find it funny that the progress is being split into parts where first part is like 10 sentences and a short clip that probably he didn't make himself? I can imagine Helius after writing that "uff i worked so hard! Now i surely deserve a month of vacation!"
Regarding the post from a disillusioned patron ...
Nothing new, nothing surprising, most devs milk, there is no incentive to finish projects while there a big risks when you need to swap to new one. They create something promising, get people hyped, after some time the patrons top up, at that point the goal is to keep as many of those patrons while doing as little as possible.
I'm only curious if they actually rebuilding or just using it as excuse to build up content for gacha and the rebuild will be just new paint.
