Let me preface the following by saying that I just recently saw the new direction of the game, and unlike some I am not angry, just disappointed to see the change and the way it was carried out, though I do understand where Enyo Eerie is coming from. This whole comment is not me heckling the creator (nor is it wholly accepting of the changes), I'm just trying to express my thoughts in a hopefully constructive way... Sorry I'm late to the party, and I'm even more sorry for the length of this all.
Anyways, Enyo Eerie, there were a few things in your explanation post that bothered me. First up is:
Again, this was not at all me trying to shit on you Enyo Eerie, it was just me expressing my thoughts and providing (hopefully) constructive criticism, including pointing out certain points of logic you had that I did not agree with. I was able to put in so much thought and time writing this because I genuinely enjoyed the the game and story as it was before, and I would've loved to see it be fully realized (maybe with a bit less death & sadness though) because of its excellent balance of intensity and lightheartedness. As much as I do not see myself enjoying the new direction things are going, I will still try to give it a fair chance for now. Anyways, I hope you got something out of all my rambling, if not, that's fine too, and regardless good luck with the rest of the project.
(also sorry if a lot or all of this has been addressed/discussed previously, I feel like I did a good job of skimming through everything to make sure I was adding to the discussion or saying things in my own unique way, but it's possible I might have missed some things...)

The game became much simpler in terms of tension etc. Although, you need to notice that it became better in all other aspects. I definitely lose smth. from the previous versions. And it's inevitable when you're redoing something. But my opinion about dark content has changed. In my opinion, the previous content was too painful. I don't know how you feel about it, but as a creator it wasn't an enjoyment for me. Believe me, guys if I'd continue to do as dark as I wanted it to be, this story would be the saddest shit you're ever read. It was only the beginning. Metamorphosis by Shindol would be a child play in comparison to me.

The main quality of my game is corruption and it will never go away. I just improved the pace of it. Corruption is not only about blackmail, rape or other stuff for me.

P.S. Let's be honest, guys. The personality of Melanie or Lucy didn't change. I wrote these characters and I know how they react and what they will do. Melanie was always like that as well as Lucy. The only thing that changed are circumstances in which I put the characters in

Melanie was always a naughty girl. Because of blackmail she turned into a simple victim/doll without a personality, which is being reluctantly corrupted. Now she has a distinctive character and has the right "to want".
