I don't think he is lying, he is just really, really slow and can't help but shoot himself in the foot with these deadlines. Why I don't think he is lying? Because he has never actually made a deadline. At least not the first time around. Usually not the 2nd time around either. Sometimes not even the third. This isn't anything new for longtime followers of this game. It's the main reason the hype and excitement for the game has died down so much.

Are you serious? He’s made plenty of “deadlines”, like actual hard dates and missed like a dozen of them. It’s not about shooting himself in the foot, the real thing is that Enyo clearly has a plan for the updates that he fills followers in on, he just gets extremely lazy during the production process. He thinks he’s capable of completing work way more efficiently then he actually is. When he announces release dates, he probably sets the dates thinking that if just spends like 8 hours each day working without distractions he can finish. In reality, he probably has hardly spent even 1 days worth of time working on the update by the day of supposed release. His level of procrastination is almost like a disease, and in all honesty, he should probably see a specialist or therapist to help rehabilitate that habit.

The only thing that actually triggers me is the dev saying the delay is because " Added new scene or content ", which definitely is not the case. I'm willing to bet anyone here that 1.There will be another delay on 29 and 2. It will be a short ass update. I get that people can be busy with job and stuff, just say that, abandon ship n move on -_-

If I remember correctly his last update was also a very short one.. So basically he's not really working on this project that much, just saying to the community that he is.. Oh next updates will be *faster and bigger btw*, like anyone would actually believe that.. Quite sad considering how talented he is, especially his renders.. Ah well, onto 29th..
