I would suggest not making delivery date promises at all. If asked, "when's the update?" simply say, "As soon as it is ready. I'm working on it." and leave it at that... unless, of course, you just enjoy messing with everyone... I'm cool with that. Hahahahahahaha

I don't have much of problem with waiting for update, but then you shouldn't release the "Update will come next week, update will come in 2-3 days" The only thing you have to do is show that some progress is being made on the game (and you are already doing that). So take it easy and don't post the deadlines that are hard for you to keep. It is much more anoying if you keep saying that update will be then and then, when you are just delaying it.
That's what I don't want to say, just dripping from all sides. And I'm a weak person, I can't say no to those who come. It's just that the creative process requires a slightly different approach. 80% of the game was already ready for the first of December, but then it all went wrong.
No problem, i will just cancel my Christmas until Santa Panda arrives...
