The Forum Tag Update thread is over a year old now. Impreg is part of the list, but that doesn't matter when the forum isn't updating.

Frankly, lazy devs like this who only care about the 'technically true' are why it's not updating.

As the devs have said repeatedly the new tag list won't go live until the forum update is complete. And the thing is, only one person, Sam the admin for the site, is working on it. He only does this in his free time, as he has a day job and a family.

So, would it have been better if the developer had not added the Pregnancy tag? No, I don't think you don't believe that at all.

Just what tag should be used to indicate what the developer did... get people pregnant but not show pregnant sex? Or should that never be an option?
EDIT: I'll answer my own question. In addition to the Pregnancy tag, there should be a Pregnant Sex tag. That would probably eliminate all confusion... or most of it. Some people will always be confused.

Think about what you are saying. A developer creates a game and wants to place it on F95. He goes to the tag rules and reads them. He sees a tag that fits his game and applies it. Now, he is 'lazy' for doing that? I don't think so. Just because a developer does not do what you wanted and/or expected does not make him lazy.

You're correct that Whiteleaf didn't do anything wrong, as under the current tags impregnation is included under the pregnancy tag. But it's important to note that their previous game, Tamas Awakening, included sex with pregnant characters. And back when this games assets were used in Dawn of Malice, it was hinted at that there would be pregnancy "comming soon". So when Dawn of Malice was blocked from being sold on Steam, and they repurposed the assets to make this game and basically said they would "finish" it under Family Breeding, people were naturally lead to believe that there would be pregnancy sex in the game.

So yeah, a lot of people feel like they were mislead when all they got was a pic at the end.

You need to realize that people DO like games with impregnation and are not all that fond of games where the MC has sex with an obviously pregnant woman. Many developers make such scenes optional for that very reason. Technicality or not, this game satisfies every definition of the tag (current and future).

Face it, you are upset because the game did not go where you expected it to go. That is not a fault of the tags. Perhaps your experience with the developer's other games raised false expectations for this one. I had no such experience, and came into the game with no preconceived expectations. So, this game satisfied me just fine.

In the future, when you see the pregnancy tag, you should probably ask the developer just what that means, so you won't be disappointed.
