Well, as far as I can tell, a typical Ren'py fap game involves several thousand renders, hundreds to thousands of lines of code, hundreds to thousands of lines of dialogue and narration, often a few dozen "simple" animations, and use of sound, music and voice snippets. All that plus game mechanics have to be designed, stats tracked, and it has to follow a plot/narrative structure from beginning to end, often with branching path options.

Easy peasy. ;)

And considering that everyone involved is either a rookie at what they're doing, has a day job and doing this as a side hobby, or both, it might take a bit. At least a couple days...

I think it'd be better to just create sexy fluid animations with the models than creating a whole new game with the assets. Creating a whole new game with the same feel is a lot of work and I'm not sure if people are up to it. Although if someone was to make a game they would have to actually deliver because Axeman while doing some good work, just left us with more teasing and grinding when what we wanted was actual sex scenes. As hot as it would to have a game where you have a build up and a nice pay off, I'm not sure if it can be pulled off but I would love for someone to try.

And I would like to add to the words megaplayboy10k and notarealperson1582 another main thing. History. Yes, yes, the story that RAinces told us. Only he has it. You can draw a thousand renderers, write a thousand lines of code, make great mechanics. But without an interesting story, and a high-quality script, this game will turn into mediocrity. The whole Internet is littered with these mediocre . Until there is an author with an interesting story, all attempts to create a game will be reduced to a porn comic at best. :(

A big part of the problem with rebuilding this game is that Rainces's code was shitty to start with, and while Axe's was an improvement, it was more of a polishing than anything else. Scrapping it and starting from scratch makes a lot of sense, but the elements of the story are a different matter.

Another thing that also happened was that just as Axeman took on the project and made headway, Rainces returned and announced his new version. Axe waited until Rainces delivered, but he never did. All the meanwhile, a bunch of trolls on this forum kept screaming conspiracy theories about how they were the same person, and eventually Axe left after taking far more abuse than was deserved, all because some troll was convinced that a nurse in Europe and a construction worker in Venezuela were the same person.

I'm not good at graphics, but I can write, edit, and I have experience coding. I've got a few ideas over on the discord, and I'm doing a story analysis breakdown to see how to move forward, what can be cut, ignored, sped up, et cetera. But if, and this is a big IF, I and others decide to attack this project, it would have to be in small chunks that we can manage. The first section would be what I'm calling the prologue, right up until the point when the clock and calendar start. In Axe's version, that was right after Bobby jerked off on Liza's ass instead of opening up her phone. IIRC that was the same in the original version, but it's been a while since I did a fresh playthrough. That's where the story should start the daily actions and be considered separate chapters.

But like I said, that's a big IF. There's a lot of work to do first.

I agree wholeheartedly that the story needs to be laid out first. That's why I'm working on a story analysis and breakdown first before a line of code is written. Over on the discord we're working on several ideas, and we're working in reverse, from the end goal or major milestones and working backward to tie them in with the existing storyline. Bobby's goal is to fuck anything with two tits, a hole, and a heartbeat and make his family his harem. How do we get there? Work backwards. How did he fuck each them individually? How did he get them to fuck each other? Was the first time he nailed them asleep or awake, consensual or rape or reluctant? Did he build to fucking them? How did he get Lucy's friend under control? How did he fuck Jenny? When did he first get head from all of them? Did he get help from their friends? Did he corrupt the shoplifters? How did he make money for all this? What happened to the storekeeper?

There's a lot to do before a line of code is written. But like the old saying goes "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time."

There is only one thing about game dev - don't stop and try to do Your best. And we just started because we like this chars and the idea behind them. It will take time and we are on our way to the end. Try not to overthink it too much.

I have a request/idea for some pics going forward. Some family portrait photos. Like one maybe one of all the women, a family picture with everyone, individual pictures of each of the women. Possibly one of a man a little taller than Bobby that would portray his dad and one of an Old Bobby, a.k.a. Grandpa Rob.

We don't get a good introduction of the characters in this game. The closest we get to an intro are some beach pics with only Anna, Lucy, Bobby, and their dad. No intro shots of Liza or Jenny. I was thinking of having a scene where Bobby explains his family, describes how his dad is "out of the picture" and goes on to describe each of the girls in his family. He also describes how he got 'Grandpa's looks and height' to explain why he's in his late teens/early twenties but looks like he's 12. He takes just after Grandpa Rob.

It is not the same, but thanks... We will try to find the exact one. If we did not find it, we will consider using this one.

Thanks! This time Raince fooled me. He always use Genesis 3 assets. Now he used a Genesis 8...

Looking forward for the bench. I will recreate these scenes today in my spare time.
can you upload the renders you have so far?

Great. We need to set some standards (resolution and models), and you can start rendering some scenes.
We need to make sure that we are not working on the same scenes.

Resolution is 2196x1235 (aspect ratio 16:9). I advise you to work in scenes that have Lucy or Lisa, since I am working with the ones with Ms. Anna. I can share my Bobby model with you later (since is the only thing in common we need now, I believe).

After I render, I use a script that I found here in F95Zone to improve the image. You dont need to worry about that. You can share the images with me and I can run the script on them.

I dont know if you know how to unpack the images from the original game to use as reference (search in the internet how to unpack Ren'py games, it is easy).

You can begin by recreating the scene in the images I uploaded, with the standards 2196x1235 (aspect ratio 16:9).

Note that they use the old Liza model. It is up to you if you like more the new one or the old one (I'd rather the new one, but it is up to you to decide... we, of course, have to keep the consistency later).

Just tried separeted render with figure and enviroment and got 30 min (against two hours with standart rendering with full scene). Adding some shadow and result below. Any thoughts? Probably we can encrease our render speed. If anyone want - I can share the algorithm about that.

Separating environment and figures is useful, but must be used wisely because sometimes it becomes too obvious that you placed one above other.

I am ok with that, personally. Your rendering is fine. Rainces himself clearly used this trick sometimes.
There were a few times where he just had a character placed over a different background, combined the two images, and called it a day.
