How about an option where the MC does not sell it or give it away? and just keep it? the player doesn't even know the woman and is forced to give the house away or sell it, as if it were nothing... (imo cringe as f... and bad writing,who the hell would give away a house or sell it without any knowledge of the real prices....)

It's a great twist to the standard "meet your secret family after your father's death" where not everyone's related and it's not just an excuse to have an easy semi-incestual situation. Even the decision not to say anything feels believable for a person who just lost a loved one and is looking to feel "at home" again.
