dat Brom Bones?
dat Brom Bones?
You misspelled Victoria
having multiple routes already broke immersion, like street whoring parallel with escort or FB magazine leadingNever really liked the idea of multiple endings. Its a visual novel anyway and Monica needs a canonical ending , whether the end player likes it or not. By having multiple you take away the immersion out of it , Monica lives in parallel universes or what actually happens to Monica doesn't count because she has another ending available.
so this update isnt going to be availaible to us , like the previous ones for free ?See FAQ 1.5.11
How did you come to that conclusion?so this update isnt going to be availaible to us , like the previous ones for free ?
Totally disagree, some are waiting for her complete downfall, some want a redemption arc, neither choice is right or wrong and the only thing breaking immersion is your NEED to see what other possible routes you could have taken. If you don't go down the other paths then how that breaks immersion for you is a mystery to me.Never really liked the idea of multiple endings. Cuz a player playing knows there are multiple choices and multiple endings when playing it and the author revealing that in one form or another, even through an announcement. See, i get why there are multiple endings. I'm not questioning the motive of that which is to satisfy all the different kinds of players. I just think/wish Monica should be ended the way DM thinks it should be ended rather than a multi consensus of players. Let the creator create. Art needn't be diluted at the altar of whims of the audience. Van gogh never painted multiple versions of his paintings so that every kind of audience can pick one of them. It isn't a sandbox game like Minecraft either where the environment is defined and the player is co creating after the creator sets the world.Totally disagree, some are waiting for her complete downfall, some want a redemption arc, neither choice is right or wrong and the only thing breaking immersion is your NEED to see what other possible routes you could have taken. So can no one tell me if it's a game bug or if it was the same for you?In episode 3, when I'm trying to convince Phillip to invest, he says he doesn't like that Monica ran away when he showed her the basement, but Monica didn't run away and now he's asking me to spend a week in his basement.
I thought it was a bug in my save file so I replayed episode 3, but now he's back to saying I ran away even though I didn't.
Is it a game bug that he says I ran away?
Melanie? Are you kidding? No one is actually oppressing her. She loves being dominated and enjoys every moment.
This is the first time I've heard of such a mistake. My Monica's was fine - you could either agree to spend a week in the basement, give up and pay $30,000 in exchange for agreeing to invest, or refuse the basement but in exchange for some favor Monica would have to do for Philly in the future. So can no one tell me if it's a game bug or if it was the same for you?![]()
Van Gogh was essentially destitute his entire life and had to be supported by his brother. If Van Gogh had been on Patreon, he would have probably been doing polls on what color paint to use and whether he should keep painting sunflowers. And yes, he would have been doing multiple versions of his paintings based on patron feedback. Most artists do that inherently anyway, because at the end of the day they need to eat and therefore respond to market/dealer feedback on what sells. Regarding DM, the second he started a Patreon page and accepted donations he was implicitly accountable for responding to patron demands because they are his meal ticket. If he wants to create without any "dilution" from the "audience" then he should close down his Patreon and self fund his creation.Cuz a player playing knows there are multiple choices and multiple endings when playing it and the author revealing that in one form or another, even through an announcement. Try to describe the whole situation in an email (what you've already done in a post here), then attach the save file and send it to decentmonkeybox@gmail.com. Maybe DM will be able to help you.
The DecentMonkey is already doing what he wants, and it has been said many times (by himself) that the whole Monica thing will end the way he originally intended. As for multiple endings, this was done in keeping with the original concept of the game, which was to have multiple routes independent of each other, each of which would lead the player to a different ending. And in doing so, the player could only choose the route(s) that suited them.Cuz a player playing knows there are multiple choices and multiple endings when playing it and the author revealing that in one form or another, even through an announcement. You are the first person to post about it in this thread. No one before you complained about this..I can assume that it is not a bug...perhaps you just did not do (when passing the episode again) a clean installation of the game and did not delete the past saves and persistence file, starting to play from your old save and the game somehow pulled the data from this file into your new playthrough. But that's just my guess.I can decide whether to go to the basement or not, but he says that the first time I went to the basement, I ran away.
So I replayed episode 3, but he still says I ran away, even though that's not true.
And that kind of bothers me if it's a bug, but if it's like that with you all, then I'd just keep playing.
Dm has updated his expected endings count with a message to Patreon only this morning. This is the relevant quote;
" Episode 4 is the final episode!! Several storylines intertwine with each other, leading to one possible ending. This grand saga will culminate in 13 endings, some of which will be revealed in upcoming updates! The quality of the content we produce continues to grow, and we hope you'll be satisfied with what we've got in store for you!"
So we have a few more possibilities to speculate about.
Wow! So this is what it is like to be well known.
I just noticed. That's great news! And of course, it's the right decision...The originally planned 8 endings are too few for such a massive game. I always thought there should be a lot more of them.Yep, that's right. View attachment 3494637
But now we'll have 13 endings instead of eight. So Mel still has a chance for a positive outcome. Although I don't really see how she can break free of Vicky's hold on her. Man, Melanie's a rich woman...All she has to do is hire a couple of muscle-bound thugs and Vicki will be found in a dumpster.for Mel it would be hard as she`s almost 100% under willpower of Vi. She`s branded by V, she`s doing 100% of her words.
As we have limited counts of endings - and Monica is main hero = Mel is out of it (only revenge route can conclude it). Monica could have good ending...Mel not. She lost in the moment he agreed to go in Dick`s office. Sad or not - from who`s place its seen.
And Mels behavior`s already outer blackmail...Tattoo part 2 will show us smth.
As far as I remember, you promised not to talk to me and even added me to the blacklist, like a little scared bitch. You are so pathetic that you cannot even keep your own word.Yeah dude, you're still on my blacklist, but I can't let this stupidity pass and not put a triple facepalm in response.
Most probably It will be available next week when the extra version is given to the lower Patreon tier.so this update isnt going to be availaible to us , like the previous ones for free ?
Come on... Melanie has a lot of opportunities to get rid of Victoria, for example, to secretly ask the lawyer again, like by sending a message, to put her behind the bars (and to take care of her so that she never gets out). And that fat guy will do anything for Melanie. Not to mention, that Melanie can just phisically get rid of Victoria, simply kill, either herself (and ask Dick to get her out of trouble after that) or by paying someone. Melanie is just into submission. That's it. No more, no less. Everyone enjoys different things and nothing wrong with that.Hardly. Melanie complies out of fear. She's in sheer terror of Marcus and the farm.
