That's precisely what I am arguing for people to do. Stop fixating on ranch 218 and enjoy the game DM is actually writing.

I'm not fixate with any path!
but the game is not playable... there are bugs...
it was a RPGM game ported on Renpy engine and remain a RPGM game.
1) there is no way to back to previous scene to fast see the different paths of scene
2) the player remain stuck in a loop when doesn't follow the order of the scenes already programmed
Like in the RPGM game

3) you have to click every day on the same actions... (RPGM game) this is soo boring and not good for the Renpy engine
4) it seems that the developers want to take time because they still don't know well how to continue the line(s) of the novel
(it seems they need help in the story line)

Renpy engine is fantastic but in Fashion Business is not well programmed
is a RPGM game that does not use the advantage of the Renpy platform

all these problems make it difficult to play .. and difficult understand the novel
here the problem is not to make Monica suffer or make her become a bitch or whatever...
The problem is that the sufferer is the player ... this game is sadistic towards those who want try play it

I dunno why some people are so fixated on Ranch 218. Just find some BDSM pron and watch that and imagine that the woman is Monica.
What does that even mean? By the same train of thought, anyone who's fixated on Monica's revenge path should watch any iteration of I Spit on Your Grave and imagine that woman is Monica.

Different people have different preferences. Some don't have a taste for anything beyond vanilla porn. Some are into gang-bang. Some like interracial. Some like S and M; a woman tied to a post and getting whipped, that's how they get their rocks off. You can't put someone down for having preferences different to your own, accuse them of being fixated over them. Everybody has their own "fixations," so to speak. You have yours, as I have mine.

Likewise, Ranch 218 has held the interest of many here. And you can't exactly blame people, when the developer had promised it, too. Episode 1. Marcus gives Monica a couple of options - go with Dick, in which case, if you ever get caught, even be it for the slightest transgression of the law, you'll end up at Ranch 218 and start your "training" from the bottom two levels, which are the worst, or you can go to Ranch 218 right now, in which case I'll send you straight to the third level, bypassing the bottom two levels. You click on Ranch 218, and you get the message "to be updated next version" (or something on those lines). Episode 2. Monica's second meeting with Marcus. Again, you have the Ranch 218 option. Again, if you click it, you get the same message, about it being updated soon. Even the change-log promised "start of the Marcus route," which would imply advancement on Ranch 218. And that's the basis of my argument. If you don't intend on developing a route, don't make promises about it. Ranch 218 was promised not once, not twice, but three times, as above. As far as Ranch 218 goes "story-wise," things can be worked out if you put your head to it. Still, even if you don't, linear stories have been known to work out fine as well. Take Taimanin Asagi, for example. Barely any choices there, but still was an enjoyable game to many. Likewise, Ranch 218 might not present many choices, but watching Monica suffer at Ranch 218, is what a percentage of us would enjoy.

This is a story about the fall and rise of Monica, not the destruction of Monica.
Not exactly. The developer, you see, has the complete story written down, from Episode 1 right through Episode 3. And it has multiple paths and multiple endings. That's where the beauty of this game lies. In one path, it's about Monica getting back to power, but in another path, it's about Monica falling to her ruin. So, this game is not just about the fall and rise of Monica, it's also about her destruction.

This game caters to a wide variety of tastes. The developer's done a good job with that. Just pick the path(s) that holds your interest and enjoy it.

The game is totally playable. When v09 was released, there were some bugs which got fixed 1(!) day later with a patch. This hotfixed version wasn't pirated for some days, because if that many people here complained about the game while the patrons of the dev didn't. Guess why.

To 1) The rollback function is disabled because it can cause fatal errors. The reason is the ren'py engine itself, not the game.
To 2) The game is sandboxed, please name one single scene where you are stuck in a loop.
To 3) You can choose every day different actions. If you do the same every day, it's up to you, but it could indeed get boring. Anyway, there is no need to do so. Ehm, also I am pretty sure that the ren'py engine will manage this, just fill oil in every now and then.
To 4) There is only one developer and the plot is written up to Ep3, even to the end of Ep3. Again, I absolutely have no clue how you get to this strange conclusions, but ok. Only because you don't know how the story will go on doesn't mean the dev does not know how to continue...

I am pretty sure you know a lot about ren'py and rpgm engine. You seem to be an expert. Maybe you should contact the dev. Obviously, without your very own help, the game will crush within the next minutes.

And yes, we, the players, don't know how the game will continue, but that's exactly what makes it so interesting. If you would know how a movie ends, would you watch it?!

I'm starting... I'm in the phase of the game where Monica have to put Betty panties and have to go at the Gym every Tuesday and Thursday
Monica have to start in the morning, go to the laundry, clean the house without forget the color of the pantors that betty was wearing the previuos day.. after that go to the street corner and ask for three different customers but the scenes are always the same...
this path must be done for 14 times... amd it is soo boring and repatitive,,,
don't forget to buy a lot of her favourite confectionery that Monica can buy at the gas station
in this phase the sKinny Bar is stuck Monica cannot talk with the host of the BAR

if I'm wrong in this pleaase give me a good walkthrough!

P.S. This is right, the Patreon rules were less strict when I started to develop the game. But I still can make some gameplay and the story in the Ranch 218.
If there are so many people who want this storyline immediately, I can make the poll on my Patreon page.
The poll about making the Ranch and finish the game after it, breaking other storylines. Because this is the very end of the story (bad end).
I don’t see the point of creating something with Monica after that.
If it turns out that everyone wants it, then I will do so.
Fashion Business will end there for you.

P.P.S And please, without advice on how to simultaneously make the plot of the farm and the main storyline. I don't know how to do it. Make your own amazing game and translate your ideas there.

100% clear to me Sir I mention the poll in post 7.068. Be honest don´t do this!

Do the same as you done with the revenge option in 0.9. Let her capture from Marcus send her to the farm, do 3-5 images the last is her grave (same warning all events are closed)! Get rid of this crap here soon. Bonus: Give them an option at the grave to put some flowers or piss on her "Thank you for playing FB".

Continue the real story of her falling path. If some can´t follow your great story, sorry for them- game over-! I don´t have any bugs or problems to start EP2 and finish until 0.9 and love the way "she falling more and more".

Of course if someone don´t read your Changelog: about saves in 0.8 he start hating. By the way your pathes are simple compare to BB or Project Sage, where you have more and 10 of them. All your routes have his tension let go this way you done well so far! Don´t change your basic direction.

When i think to restart this game from the beginning to give another chance to the writers .... I just close the game after 30 minutes because the multiple clicking on useless choices that I know they are pointless (because I have already play the first time).

My saves for this 0.8 starts from page 6-8 older version some new from page 10-13 end of 0.8. DON`T click any other saves!! But I think you know all this, that these saves can´t use in 0.9, right.

Of course I have all saves 0.9 too with pistol if you need, no bugs at all, so far to your soap opera is anyway futile. You can override 0.8 with 0.9 later.

By the way, you lucky to play this game, if you like special pathes. In Project Sage you are busy the hole year to send post and saves because there over 20 routes and 100 saves are not enough.

I'm not a Gamemaker I'm a Music producer, arranger lyrics and music writer and I have my own recording studio with professional equipments (I'm familiar with problems related to a working progress project I have many songs in progress)

Project Sage is a great Renpy game
and I have played it 4 times from the beginning until today and i will do again and again with pleasure.
Fashion Business I have lost all saves because I have ep1 at 1080p that was not compatible
I have played EP2 but there are problems... because is working in progress.. so saves are not compatible

I have decided to start again Fashion Business from the beginning... I already have the 0.8 version the 0.9 and the fixed 0.9
and it is a mess due to the repetitive choices that I must do every day.

note: the 0.9 fixed version comes with a problem...
do not show the Auto save page in my mac.. this is a big problem for a Renpy game that do not have back button
version 0.9 works fine with Autosave page but it is very slow.
(when i want back to a scene already gone I have to quit the 0.9 fixed version and open the 0.9 version
load the autosave of the scene and save it on free slot ... than open again the fixed(?) version)

I think there are bugs in the 720p "free" version

Good Girl gone Bad is another great Renpy game with a lot of story lines
and a lot of useful choices (there are not the choices related to sleeping every day or not
and every choice is really interesting as it is an adult game of course)

this is the point an adult game must follow the story of the MC and other characters without distraction about clicking for do repetitive actions.

I tried to answer some stuff you said in an ironic way, but that didn't work. The game has indeed some very funny moments, but obviously you don't get irony even when it hit's you. Anyway, The game is NOT written for rpg engine and now in the cover of ren'py engine. You have absolutely now clue what you are talking about. I'm afraid you have no idea how that works. You can't just simply "write" some code lines and then choose in which engine you want to apply them. omg...
Therefore, noy, you are simply not right. There are no bugs in the game and because of them the rollback fct. is disabled. When you play simple ren'py games, rollback works. When ren'py saves the decisions you made (e.g. while dancing in the streets at the pole), you use rollback, ren'py kind of gets "confused" by it's own internal mechanism and that can lead to a fatal error. This has - again - nothing to do with FB, but only with the engine itself. FB is a pretty complex game, consisting of thousands of lines of code, and, by the way, brings between 1-2k new high-end renders each update, several thousands line of new dialogues and all that in 5-7 weeks every time.

In summary, you are playing a pirated version, pay nothing for it, but have the balls to complain about things which simply are not true? Really? Seriously, answering on that stuff is getting pretty annoying slowely.

IF you ever want to help the game, make positive critics, stop writing some weird conspiracy theories about an rpg-ren'py-hybrid game and don't claim that there are "bugs" where are none just because rollback was deactivated. If it would be enabled again, this thread would be full of people complaining that the game crashes (the reason why is above). And one last time, it's NOT because of the game, but because the engine itself... wow...

the other games that i have played are olso pirated but they works fine!
If there is specific pirate vrsion that does not work I really suggest:
it is better do not post here
because even if I have supported some patreon... I have those supported games downloaded from F95
that works fine!

You can't use rollback, even with unren. It's deactivated.
