i'm using '' update code '' from ep 3v10 to ep 3v5 ... so this is not an update but a downgrade to ep 5 ? i'm so confused i dont understand . i just want the last update and work for mommy !

You are the first person in my memory who has made a downgrade of a game from a later version to an earlier one. Most importantly, it's unclear why you did it. Pay attention to the FAQ.

After you have finished playing Ep.1, you need to download Episode 2: New Life. It contains versions v1 - v16. Episode 3: Crossroads is a continuation of Episode 2. Version numbering in Ep.3 has been changed and it starts not from v17, as it was before, but from v1. Based on this, it makes no sense to artificially downgrade the game from version 10 to 5, as version 10 includes all content from Ep3 v1 to Ep3 v10.

I don't advise you to start playing from ep3, as all 3 episodes are interconnected and you'll miss a huge amount of interesting content. But if you do want to start a new game from episode 3, you can do so. As for the quest "work for Mommy", here are the conditions under which the quest will start.

I think it's likely that Monica is reacting to meeting her neighbour again in the newest spoiler. The question is where has Betty gone since Ralph kicked her out? I see two possible options. One is she went to her old friend Steve for help and the other is that she moved in with the neighbour and became is live in maid. Either way Fred is definitely going to reintroduce Monica to her neighbour at some point. No doubt that will lead to a gangbang or two.

I am sooo confused whether i want to try this game or not. Does the MC progress whatsoever? are most scenes optional or a must? i get from reviews so many mixed messages.. And usually the ones i read that give it great rating dont explain much while the bad ratings go into extreme detail of why its bad. I despise a grind and sandboxes are rarely done well... Can any one elaborate what to expect from sort of neutral pov?

The problem with your little cartoon is that Monica has never admitted to herself that she is a whore. It doesn't pass for one scene let alone every scene.

Let's go in order. The presence of intelligence in Monica and the presence of humiliation do not contradict each other. Monica is initially (in episode 1) shown as a smart enough woman with excellent business acumen, who knows what she wants out of life, who knows how to run a multi-million dollar big business (a profitable Fashion Business magazine), who knows how to manipulate men, who knows how to achieve her goals. So let's proceed from the fact that by default - Monica is smart enough to do all the things I've described.

Now for what happened to her later. As promised, we are given a wayward, proud, beautiful and quite intelligent woman who pays the price for her "sins", her lousy bitch character, for her disregard and contempt for the people around her еtc.

You write that she was humiliated. Yes, she was. Humiliation and blackmail are the two main "fetishes" of this game. But anyone can be humiliated, especially when their life circumstances are the way they are for Monica. She is humiliated not because she's not smart, but because she has no choice.

It's not easy to do when you are disenfranchised, when you have no papers, when you have been "erased" and you are nobody (that she is the same Monica Buckfett, only a few people know). So I don't see a contradiction here. The world of two-faced scoundrels around her is exactly that, all ready to eat each other up and hers included.

She doesn't consider herself a whore, although she does have to (at the player's desicion) do the same prostitution in the Slums or/and VIP-Escort. Monica is still not broken, she is a strong person with an inner core who keeps fighting for her life and her rights. For now, the pendulum is still on the side of further humiliating the clever and beautiful Monica. After all, humiliating a broken-down fool who has resigned herself to her unenviable fate would not be interesting, so we have what we have.

Regarding Episode 2: I am also stuck with accessing the Phillip escort route:

To begin the escort route continue doing photo shoots for Biff until he tells you to preform a presentation for some potential investors. After the presentation, when you visit the La Grand Hotel for lunch or dinner Monica will run into Phillip. After dealing with him return to the hotel as early as the next day and the escort route will open up.

I had enjoyed the Phillip bathroom scene but he did not hand me his flash / business card, possibly due to low corruption. I also could not access the hotel afterwards. Does it open up again later once I get a dress through the photoshoots or how do I get back to Phillip? :-D
Would be sad because without using cheats it was kinda impossible to be all corrupted enough in the bathroom scene.

That Phillip bathroom scene is still one of the best scenes in the game. He never hands Monica a business card, Monica runs into Phillip later.
So to access the hotel Monica needs a nice dress. The dress can be bought or stolen from that lesbian in the clothes shop. Before Monica can enter the shop again without running away she will need to do the photoshoot with Melanie, after which Melanie will not return for a while after visiting a character for Monica.

After Melanie's disappearance if you have progressed the home storylines with Betty and Bardie enough, the house will receive a visitor. This visitor will return a week later after which Monica will realise she needs a better outfit than the whore one she has been getting around in. She will now be able to enter the clothes shop to buy or steal the dress.

Monica will run into Phillip later after she gives a presentation to some potential investors for Biff.
