I can't get past the talking to 9 guests part of EP2. I've already spoken to everybody twice. It's stuck at 8/9. Am I just fucked?

And what kind of instructions can there be for someone mindlessly spamming pictures of Monica's dialogue options? Is it the dialogues that cause you difficulty in getting through the game? No? Then why are they here? Or are we supposed to guess from two pictures and four words what kind of problems you had while playing the game?
Great, except where were those explanations when you posted those two pictures? OK, let's leave the misunderstandings aside. If I understand correctly, you have had difficulties with Monica's visit to Linda's apartment.
After completing the dialogue with Linda at the Hotel, if the player has selected the upper dialogue option (Go to Linda's apartment), the game automatically loads the city map:
where you have to click on Linda's Apartments. The game should NOT (if you choose the 1st dialogue option) load the location of Hotel Le Grand, as shown in your 2nd screenshot. The Hotel La Grande location is only loaded if option 2 (She can go to hell) has been selected. But even then, the standard icon on the top right is available to open the city map for quick moves аnd you can still send Monica to Linda's apartment.
You may be playing FB with a mod (scrappy) installed. If so, uninstall it, it breaks the game. If you're playing a compressed version of the game (unofficial), then contact the user who posted that version here. If not, and you have a clean, uncompressed official version of the FB without mod, try load an earlier save file and start with it.
First, Monica has to talk with six guests and then give an interview to the reporters.
After the interview, she needs to talk to Stephanie and Rebecca. Then walk to the guest Rebecca mentioned, talk to him and come back to the girls. After talking to them, Monica needs to find a fashion designer in the crowd and go talk to him. After chatting with him and Biff, Monica will need to talk with the investor and Biff. (taken from the FB walkthrough)
I can add that in this event, you should study the location carefully, you may have missed the investor who is standing in the furthest part of the location (if I'm not mistaken, it's Mr Campbell).

I don't believe in that kind of magic - it doesn't work
My experience shows that if the script broke the interface, it can't be repaired...
as also shown by direct testing of the options available through the daytime button
3 locations are available, the exit to the city is not available... except Monica's villa... again, not through the button, but by manually moving around the locations
I currently have not completed Linda's location to say that this path is a dead end

So, how many people have at least tried to answer your "question"? I wonder why no one wanted to answer you? So it's not me who has a problem analysing information, it's you who has a problem presenting information in a comprehensible way. No one should have to resort to deduction and guess what you mean just because you were too lazy to write a few lines of text.

Of the known bugs of the last Ep v6 version, it's missing Monica's assets (when she is standing behind the reception desk) but in the latest hotfix1 the DM fixed that. I specifically tested the whole quest with Linda on version 6, using the official save from DM made by him in April 2021. Everything works just fine. If it was a massive bug, it would have been known about by now. But you're the first to write about it here. I doubt anyone other than the developer will be able to help you. Well i was responding to the 1080p torrent link posted above.. Its a total of 56gb containing Episode 1,2 and 3. And 3rd episode has a size of approx 27gb.

Episode 3 is only 7.96gb (for PC) and 7.86 Gb (for Mac) You will only download 1 version, right? (for PC or Mac), so you will only need to download 1 archive with the game, deciding which version you want to play (32bit or 64bit). Furthermore, they have extra files in the torrent, which their admin admits. For months now this torrent has contained Ep.2.2. part 2, which has long been irrelevant, as there is Episode 3, which includes its content.

I say this as an IT professional with over 20 years of experience...
Knowing the peculiarities of some "very skilled developers" (perhaps you should hint that in quotes sarcasm) on this engine, by default I deploy the new version in the new directory ...
so your advice sounds like this:
"dude, did you download and unzip the game? - well done! download it again and unzip it again too!"
my purpose was to draw attention to this bug. I have no idea if the developer reads this thread. Nevertheless, I was looking for someone who was in the same situation and found a way out... At the moment I'm going down some alternative path which may lead to a solution... but in any case there are unreliable "automatics" that need to be eliminated or refined...

daytime button
going to monica's villa (others place not have exit)
I sent her to sleep (it might be worth trying to get out right away)
In the morning, I sent her to the closet to put on the red dress.
Then I sent her to the courtyard.
then on to the road.
And then a map of the city opened up.
then on to Linda's apartment.
After completing the event.
Monica teleports to the gates of her villa
and (miracle) the city map button is available again
and what's even more miraculous - it works...

Sorry I've been watching the show "The IT Crowd" lately.I'm not intending to inflame your discussion with Stan5851 however I would think that with you being an " IT professional with over 20 years of experience" maybe you would understand why 2 pictures without any text explaining the issue might be confusing. Now that you have clarified your problem, some kind of response can be given.
As Stan5851 stated when the "go to Linda's apartment" choice is clicked, the map screen will pop up where you can choose "Linda's apartment" icon. The picture you have shown of the La Grand that popped up for you is clearly missing the icons that should be present at the top right corner of the screen. Something has happened with your game that is unusual. The game doesn't act this way for me nor anyone else that I have seen. So take that for what it is worth. From where I sit something needs to change from your end. I won't recommend you reinstall, I know you hate that.

I dl the new 1080 version. Would that be my fault the old saves from episode 3 v.5 would yield mistake or is it just the version I dl is corrupted? I placed all filed from PC version and the Hotfix in one folder for extra awesomeness.
