VN version can have different paths with different endings. It doesn't have to be limited to one. I really see no point to "work until evnening" on different days to see what victoria do to others. Also going out the buildings with different clicks and changing clothes seems pretty long for me. Some of them is grinding for meter rather then pushing the story forward. If it make sense to you
The original concept of the game was different (
more on that here), and it's impossible to remake it. And yes, there are about 8 different endings waiting for us. As for VN, FB is basically VN, but with sandbox elements. FB was originally written on the RPGM platform, and later the developer rewrote the game code, transferring the game to the RenPy engine. I can assume that these sandbox elements remained as inevitable vestiges of the RPGM engine. By the way, you won't have to change Monica's clothes every time, the game features simplifications and improvements to the game interface. See the
FAQ (1.3.3)
But if you dream, then yes, I would not refuse to change the "skeleton" of the game and prefer the scheme that is, say, in the same LFFG - several different paths (based on a common storyline), at the choice of the player, each of which leads us to different endings and one of the endings is canonical.
Thus, the game would have more integrity than in a variant where there are a bunch of separate routes and each one "owes nothing to anyone" and is essentially self-sufficient. But we have what we have, so I suggest we just enjoy Monica's adventures and hope the endings don't disappoint us.)
