It doesn't matter if DecentMonkey is honest or not. He doesn't force you to play this game and he doesn't gain anything from you playing it because you don't support him anyway, and the only one who should be upset is DecentMonkey because he puts many hours into this game and gets punched in the face every time because it gets uploaded here so fast. There's an episode of The Simpsons where Homer illegally downloads movies, and when he made a movie himself, his friends illegally downloaded his movie, and he was pissed because he lost money.

Well, the one who was upset in the first place is the Decent Monkey's loyal patron who pays him 30 dollars a month (that is 360 dollars a year). It is understandable that he is kind of disappointed with the size of the update. When you pay such a big amount of money, you expect a certain amount of work done by the developer. I mean, just imagine, you go to a store and buy a cake for 30 dolllars. You got home, you open the package, but there is only half of the cake inside. Would you be upset? I think I would. Then you call the store and the baker says to you, "If you don't like how I run my business, you can always buy cakes somewhere else. Good bye". It doesn't sound so nice, does it?)

Anyway, it is incredible how bad Decent Monkey at public relations. I mean time and again the same mistakes. He could have just said something like, "Sorry, guys, I was really busy making the transition between the episodes, coding and stuff and so I didn't have enough time to produce the amount of the content I usually do. But don't worry, the next update will be awesome." That is it, and he would have smelled like flowers, and not sounded like an asshole.

I created about 1.5k pictures in the last update, and I don't understand why someone would claim there isn't enough content in it.
Yes, if you don't play Philip's storyline and Victoria's storyline, there's not much other content, but, in the last update, there was no Victoria at all. And a lot of people love that plot.
And yes, I suggest comparing my release calendar, which includes release dates and number of pictures with other projects.

If i remember they didn`t meet before - it will be difficult to bring them together. And it`s different plots.

Shhhh quiet you I was asking Decent, where their is a will theres a way Claire visited Monica at the office, Victoria has been to the office. They bump in to each other there, she gets a happy invite back to Victoria's place and....boom problem solved Claire gets to meet Victoria's happy table

So I just started playing this game and for some reason all of my saves in Episode 2 keep getting corrupted in a weird way. When I go to load them, it opens up but Monica is stuck saying "I need to undress first" and then the game goes into the "Oops something went wrong screen".

Has anyone else had this issue/anyone know how to fix it?

The second update will be what it will be.
The first update was 1.5k images and if that's not enough for an update in your opinion, check out the other games.
That said, I spent an extra 2 weeks coding and testing the transition between episodes (questionnaire for the new game, transferring assets, etc)
There are a lot of storylines in Fashion Business, and not always the set of them in the current update may match your tastes.
After a couple of updates, endings will start to appear and some of the storylines will be completed.
If the remaining storylines aren't to your liking, you may not want to support the game.
Either way, I'm determined to complete it in its entirety.
The only obstacle may be my health, most of which I spent years developing, working 12 hours a day.
However, I hope that everything will be fine.

I'll admit the post you quoted was full of hyperbole and poorly worded. I've made an edit to that post that reflects my actual opinion. I didn't have any bigger problem with the produced content than some other updates. What I am disappointed with is the length of this update compared with your recent updates of the past 12 months.

Pointing out your productivity compared too other developers isn't needed. I am well aware you beat out 98% of your peers in this regard. And when the quality of the game is added, it is surpassed by no one that I'm aware of. I'm not marking ep4v1 against other developers, I'm marking it against your previous work.

I don't donate $30 US an update to any other developer. Your usual quantity and quality per update is why I've been more than happy to support the game for so long. I think I'm entitled to call out when an update doesn't meet my expectations, especially when far less content is produced than average. I've been critical of some storylines in the past but have never before seriously considered ending my support of the game. I have donated $30 US an update since I think ep2v6 maybe ep2v7, anyway for a long time. If someone like me has been made to consider the value of continuing my support of the game from this update and you think I'm being unreasonable, that's okay. You will do what you will do and the second update will be what it will be.

All I really am looking for is conformation that ep4's updates going forward will have the equal quantity and quality that the second half of ep3 had.

OMG! It's $30 US an update not per month. I'm not that wasteful with my hard earned.

Your point at the end of your post is spot on. If he had just given some kind of disclaimer stating unusual circumstances with this update I would have shut-up and quietly waited for the next one.
