There was a time when updates came out once a month.
Not quite once a month but not that far off.
Yes back when this game was smoking we had an update schedule of a 40 to a 50 day update cycle. By that I mean that if we had an update on the 10th of June the next update would be around 20th of July and then the next update would be around the 10th of September. Yeah so about 40 days to then about 50 days. This all changed once DM in his infinite wisdom started producing MOS. He held on for a while keeping up with the schedule and then in an even more intelligent move decided to produce a third game called BOP. It's all been down hill from there production time wise.

I think the last update of MOS was over 5000 renders. I may be wrong on that as I pay that game little attention, but yeah if you are looking for a reason DM doesn't put out the updates of FB like he used to, producing multiple games at the same time is the reason not a loss of passion necessarily.

I'm still waiting for a 5000+ render update of FB. I don't count kickboxing animations by the way.

By pop you mean Bossom of Pleasure? He should focus his energy on one or two projects, developing three games simultaneously must be taxing as f*ck.

Well, I think DM is currently fully focused on just this game :WeSmart:.

BoP is already finished, as is MoS, although the Season 2 bonus content is still pending on Steam, along with a promised DLC that I assume will be released in 2026.

And you couldn't see those 5,000 renders in a single save, they depended on some previous decisions.

I don't think so. they have finished both games, which means they're developing a new game. producing a new game takes more time than regular updates.

Confirmed? The last thing I read was a poll where they didn't even know the genre of the next game yet.

Fashion Business is nearing completion, so I am also devoting time to developing my next project. I am already squeezing the most out of the current technology (DAZ3D + 3dsMAX), so I plan to switch to Blender. This will significantly improve the visual aspect of the future game and open up a lot of space for creating much cooler animations.

This requires me to master new technologies and create a wide range of scripts for Blender.

I plan to present you with a new project this year, which is expected to be even better than Fashion Business!

However, don’t worry about Monica. Even after the game is finished, I plan to periodically release small updates that will develop additional storylines.

But, as I said, we have no idea what genre the game is.
The genre is known to us.

And there is a high probability that the game will feature a FMC.I could ask the DM about details, but if a surprise is planned, I certainly won’t be the one to ruin it. Besides, it’s not at all certain that the dev will be willing to share this right now…Therefore, I suggest we just wait for the news/new polls.

well according to the poll it should be Dark fantasy
I have a very bad feeling about such polls. It basically means that the developer has no vision at all what his next game is going to be. He either run out of ideas, doesn't care or lost any interest in developing games. Just imagine some famous creative person doing that, for example Nolan doing a twitter poll, asking what movie he should film next. Ridiculous.
It is one thing when a developer asks his or her patrons about certain aspects of a game, like choosing among a few outfits the main character is going to wear. That's good, that's engaging your audience. But the poll above is ominous for the future.

Yeah, same here.
I thought the same, it's like an commissioned work - that's dangerous, but if you have a capable studio (at least a good team behind you, especially in story writing and character development, not the 3D part, psychological, character traits and so on...), why not.
But overall this patron system is bad - curse and bless at the same time.
If you let it happen, you prostitute yourself and sacrifice your art/work to the patrons. They pay, they want to have a "say"/ a word on it - idk, if this sentence makes sence in english - xD...
That could destroy your art, your game, the story... just to serve the kinks of a bunch of whales... - yeah, we will see...
I'm hoping the best...
The genres are a little, hmm... curiosities?!
I'm still curious...
