yeah when I read that I didn't notice any plotholes personally either and I played the game not to long before the announcement but I probably just over looked them. I do get wanting to deveolopment Eiko more tho but a full rework just for 1 character would be a bit much imo , but with the other things the dev wants to fix I don't mind it as much. If it truly fixes things in the writing I just didn't see.So ... yes?

just this morning i was thinking, what was that game i liked, then saw this in latest replies a lil while ago. thats the game. sad its going for rework and not new content. even if the remake comes out soon, much like murmur aside from a passing thought lost interest during all this waiting. im not really sure what either game is about anymore now that i really think about it. just that i liked it once. but who knows, maybe next year ill have a passing thought about the game and it will have new content.

Don't think about lost opportunities. if you liked what what was in the game at the moment , that's enough. Don't be sorry. That's what I tell myself to calm down. do not build unrealistic hopes.
Possibly yes. The dev has been struggling with the process and the motivation to push through. So we'll see or we wont. lol. Hopefully it gets done ( I think half of the chapters have been remade or something like that).
I honestly think Katana should've left well enough alone and just kept pushing forward but so it goes.

So while Eiko isn't the only reason, she is the main driving factor. As for the other reasons given. I don't remember most of them (there was quite a bit) but I seem to recall that there were hints about a pending gang war story that was abandoned and some inconsistency with respect to Koko's studies.

Woop report and good mood!
The last one was quite in a negative tone due to me feeling very down, but thankfully, after a few more days, I've managed to bounce back. I think multiple things I did helped me ease back into positivity, and I'll try to continue doing some of them so I don't fall back into the pit (such as, continue cleaning my pc as it was an absolute mess, yay for +1.5TB of free space now).
Also sold part of my furniture finally, woho! Step closer to buying new stuff for this place and wrapping up that story (will be slow tho).
And now, onto the game. After my recovery, progress was decent. In last 8 days, 150 new renders, which is finally renders done on the beach. Yup, fiiiiiinally back onto renders and beach working for the most part, without huge hiccups. A few smaller issues, a few lightning/shadow issues, but overall, working. Here is a little pic, and if all goes well, probably next set of sneaks at the very end of this month with the usual "before and after" rework.
Quite happy with how it's turning out, will be most noticeable that, once again, Raiko's skin looks so much better in her natural color, and not the "Kat used 27 lights on her" beige color. Besides that, today + tomorrow working on finalizing ep2 script, decided for small tweak on the part just before the hotel that should tie some loose ends a bit better. The script up to that part has been sent to Scooter the Proofreader for him to start checking stuff, make small adjustments and for him to let me know if I messed something up. We should finish our bits (me with rendering, him with proofreading) around the same time so if there is a major issues, I can finish it right afterwards.
Roughly around 500 more renders left for Ep2, and after that, animations and alike and slowly wrapping up ep2 for my inner circle testing. Definitely behind schedule, but can't wait for at least that small dose of dopamine rush when they test it.

Only you can decide how valuable your time is, but I skipped episode 4 entirely when the rework was announced. Despite the promising looking update posted above yours, Katana has stated recently on Discord that the next release will not happen before the end of the year. My recommendation would be to just wait.Im interested on this game, but I've seen it's getting a rework to improve the early chapters, Should I wait for it or nah (?)

is Episode 4 being reworked I thought it was only the earlier chapters 1 and 2 and maybe part of 3

I think you are correct, but not really sure. For me it was just prudent to wait for the reworked version and start from the beginning again.
Hmm yeah sadly there is no point and its best to just forget about this and come back in 1,5 years for new content i guess ... i REALLY dont get why he doesnt just give Eiko more screentime in the next two episodes.
Is the render above in the changelog a reworked render? If yes, why does Koko's face/mouth look so strange i dont really care but if you rework a avn (which looked good already) and thats the outcome ... i dunno ...

The thing is you will have to start from scratch and none of your saves will count. Plus whenever there's a remake there are bound to be positives and negatives. Even if the bulk of the changes are improvements, some scenes may be changed or removed that you actually liked, which might annoy you.Im interested on this game, but I've seen it's getting a rework to improve the early chapters, Should I wait for it or nah (?)
So maybe just wait and play it when the process is over (it will be a while I think).

Did her model change as well? She seems to have a rounder face, and her breasts appear larger, overall, she looks more voluptuous.

I don't recall Raiko having a small amount of content but probably less than Koko and Avis but she isn't a side character. ( the game shows if you are on her route and her points at the end of each chapter) Levy on the other hand yeah she barley has any content I think tho im not interested in herwtf I play through only to find out Reiko is a 'side character' at the end?!?!?
