kind of sucks that, THAT is the only way to restore limbs. I thought there would be a healing spell or potion or something. but thanks man. I understand that the game is SUPPOSED to be extremely punishing but come on! its too easy to lose a limb. Especially against the prison guards and the lizard man
Supposedly there are healing spells later on in the game, but I don't know if they actually affect limbs or if it's just health. I haven't gotten that far yet.

Instakill coin flips. Saving is a coin flip. I pick heads every time, it lands heads but shows tails. I would not consider this game "playable."

Looks like one of those games that's more annoying than fun. Coin flip deaths is not good game design

Honestly for a non cheat run all you have to do is pray for explosive vials then you can just steamroll through the game like I did... and then die to a coin flip.

Lol, my best "run" so far has been after getting defeated in an early fight (nothing sexual--in fact, I haven't seen anything "sexual" so far out of the five attempts thus far), and winding up in the blood pits with no limbs save an arm. Became some kind of abomination in this dreadful, hellish place as the my character slithered and crawled over the mutilated corpses littering the place (and often skinned by me after they've been toyed and tortured with) while raising an small retinue of ghouls and skeletons (always very hungry...) to do my bidding under the hateful yet curious gaze of unknowable gods that lives beyond in a golden city. Found a bed; didn't die; SAVED! ...after that ordeal, I'm looking more and more into this , but I don't know... I rarely cheat. (I don't save-scum in games even when a developer encourages it!) But, hmm, I feel like this might be the game to do just that--it's so unforgiving, lol!

I immediately ran into a jailor, cut his arm off and then he instakilled me and r4p3d me in a cell where I crawled around bleeding to death from rectal trauma.
So... yeah. Non-consent galore.

The game is really unfair.
I got decapitated by a crowhead guy even after I destroyed ALL his limbs (2hands + 2 legs). There was NO coin toss, just The End.
I actually healed a moment earlier and had 80+ hp.
And I must add that this happened while I attempted to SAVE (by sleeping). In a room where I lit a bonefire.

BTW: does anyone have a good save? Would You post it please?

Nope the wiki stated that it's finished,
it's just the dev seems like he didn't implemented this option becuse blah blah blah loli which is a big taboo with these devs
/
fictions:sex is bad------>violence and sacrificing a child is good I guess:rolleyes:.

I guess another tag should be added to the OP, "retarded logic".

That's the Dev's fault- he didn't have to make her a child or even allude to the fact that she was one. He doesn't seem to have any issues with sacrificing her to the giant, blob-like, Hellraiser Hydra thing. That was rather gruesome, not so much visually...but I wasn't expecting that soul-piercing scream. Lol

you can save in beds
But it's more easy with a book honestly. Never tried that so far, because somewhat I managed to kill the crow (the only cheats used are food and the limbs things) and now I can safely save without problems but I don't think that there's a coin flip.

Or yes?

the game is not porn sadly,
the game themes follows the Pagan mythologies & symbolism & hawaiian temples cults
of fighting ones inner demons[won't be easy...] ,

the child girl represent your child like mental state in these dark times[she is not real],
being serious & sacrificing your inner child & innocence will turn you into an adult but at the loss of your innocent child mentality,

keeping her alive is the key into finding the truth and becoming the hero of this sad excuse of a land[reaching enlightenment],

the coin flip represent real life
[life is filled with random outcomes & non predictions,
even the most powerful person in the world can be beaten by a flip of a coin].

Anyone know the best path to go? Dying too often and can't get the cheat menu to work. Also is it possible to stop crawling or will I be crawling on that save permanently?

D-u-u-u-u-u-u-u-d-e. Deep thoughts are a real boner killer... Lol j/k

This was a rather intelligent and insightful post. What are you doing on this forum? :) I came to a few of these conclusions. The mythology is unique to this game and realm- it does borrow from Pagan ideologies, which is nice and temptation is a common theme within all religions.

I like your take on the premise of the "child" in the game- I got the sacrifice theme, but I was thinking more along the lines of how far are you willing to go/how much of your humanity are you willing to sacrifice. Will the dungeon turn you into the monster that it has everyone else that entered it before you? If you think back to your "origin" story- you make choices that shape your character from the very beginning- cannibalism, cowardice, treachery, murder...right out of the gate. The game kinda starts with the deck stacked against you- the dungeon does NOT do anything to help your character or your situation. This Dev has to be a psych student as well- there's a lot more to this game than just a hack'n'slash dungeon crawl.

"Sometimes a mace is just a mace." - Sigmund Barbarian

P.S. The coin toss is still a pain in the arse. :)
