If your character is crawling, it's because they've lost their legs. The only way to fix that is to get new legs via the "make love" ritual at prayer circles, and that'll need a sacrifice.Anyone know the best path to go? Dying too often and can't get the cheat menu to work. Also is it possible to stop crawling or will I be crawling on that save permanently?
Which way do I go to find the girl? I remember finding her the first time I played it when it was still the demo but I can't remember where she isIf your character is crawling, it's because they've lost their legs. As for paths, that depends on which ending you want. The easiest way to "win" is to take the mercenary, go down the left stair at the beginning, continue to the prison, use lockpicking to open the stairwell at the northeast end of most prison layouts (they're are a few different dungeon layouts and which you get is random at character gen), and take that straight down to the 7th floor. Find the Captain there (the guy you were hired to find) and leave. Congratulations, you've beaten the game. No combat required. Time required, approximately 10 minutes. That won't get you godhood though. For that, rather than worrying about how to progress deeper, faster, or safer try to figure out how to get stronger.
For that I'd suggest getting a larger party. The Girl from the first floor is pretty much the weakest character you can get, but she has special interactions in the last boss if you gave her the doll from the prison, and she can learn spells from scrolls and use the with the same level of ridiculous power as any other party member. Avoid combat as much as you can until you actually have the power to win with reasonable ease. Combat typically doesn't make you much stronger, especially if you don't have a soul stone. Don't play this game like Darkest Dungeons, play it like Silent Hill. Monsters aren't there for you to grind through, they're terrifying monstrosities created by twisted gods. This is a horror survival game before it's an RPG.
A tip, while melee attacks are much less accurate when aiming for the head, magic is not. Magic can hit heads just as reliably as any other body part, though different spells have different base accuracy. Also, try to find the cooking recipe book in the one of the first floor libraries. It can be picked up from bookcases that don't require a coin flip, but it's still RNG what book you'll get. Having the recipe book will allow you to make food that is far more filling. Though this is hardly required. Grilled meat doesn't need a recipe, only a fire, and it restores 90 hunger.
She's always in the first area of the first floor, locked in a cage (assuming you went in the main entrance and not the side stairs). You'll need either the mercenary's lockpick ability, a small key, or a red vial to get her out. She's the least useful party member (other than devil children, who are really only good for sacrificing or taking hits), so if you have other ways to fill up your party I wouldn't worry about rushing to get her.Which way do I go to find the girl? There isn't a coin flip in the book, but there is in finding it. Could you tell which method you used for cheats? But it's more easy with a book honestly. Never tried that so far, because somewhat I managed to kill the crow (the only cheats used are food and the limbs things) and now I can safely save without problems but I don't think that there's a coin flip.
Or yes?

I really like what was said there. The game could have been a bit more forgiving, but it's not too bad in that regard. The atmosphere and lore are real strengths here. Even the sound is better than most games (that includes them).Don't play this game like Darkest Dungeons, play it like Silent Hill. Bed (50% of possibility, that you can encounter the crow or not. If you do, you're fucked, otherwise you're lucky) or Book of Enlightement (I think it's written this way) but it's really hard to obtain.how to save, pls?
