Anyone know the best path to go? Dying too often and can't get the cheat menu to work. Also is it possible to stop crawling or will I be crawling on that save permanently?
If your character is crawling, it's because they've lost their legs. The only way to fix that is to get new legs via the "make love" ritual at prayer circles, and that'll need a sacrifice.

As for paths, that depends on which ending you want. The easiest way to "win" is to take the mercenary, go down the left stair at the beginning, continue to the prison, use lockpicking to open the stairwell at the northeast end of most prison layouts (they're are a few different dungeon layouts and which you get is random at character gen), and take that straight down to the 7th floor. Find the Captain there (the guy you were hired to find) and leave. Congratulations, you've beaten the game. No combat required. Time required, approximately 10 minutes. That won't get you godhood though. For that, rather than worrying about how to progress deeper, faster, or safer try to figure out how to get stronger.

For that I'd suggest getting a larger party. The Girl from the first floor is pretty much the weakest character you can get, but she has special interactions in the last boss if you gave her the doll from the prison, and she can learn spells from scrolls and use the with the same level of ridiculous power as any other party member. Avoid combat as much as you can until you actually have the power to win with reasonable ease. Combat typically doesn't make you much stronger, especially if you don't have a soul stone. Don't play this game like Darkest Dungeons, play it like Silent Hill. Monsters aren't there for you to grind through, they're terrifying monstrosities created by twisted gods. This is a horror survival game before it's an RPG.

A tip, while melee attacks are much less accurate when aiming for the head, magic is not. Magic can hit heads just as reliably as any other body part, though different spells have different base accuracy. Also, try to find the cooking recipe book in the one of the first floor libraries. It can be picked up from bookcases that don't require a coin flip, but it's still RNG what book you'll get. Having the recipe book will allow you to make food that is far more filling. Though this is hardly required. Grilled meat doesn't need a recipe, only a fire, and it restores 90 hunger.

Which way do I go to find the girl? I remember finding her the first time I played it when it was still the demo but I can't remember where she is

She's always in the first area of the first floor, locked in a cage (assuming you went in the main entrance and not the side stairs). You'll need either the mercenary's lockpick ability, a small key, or a red vial to get her out. She's the least useful party member (other than devil children, who are really only good for sacrificing or taking hits), so if you have other ways to fill up your party I wouldn't worry about rushing to get her.

If you have something to teach her spells she can be very useful, and if you want to get her special ending you'll need her with you at the end. There are also some special story interactions that only happen if she's there, but nothing that helps you so much as adds lore. If you aren't trying to get her ending, you can use her as a sacrifice to gain favor from the gods and learn spells or use a soul stone on her dead body to get a free soul. She actually has a much more powerful soul than most. She won't agree to willing sacrifice herself unless she's been in your party for long enough to gain affection for you. I'm not certain whether the talk action actually gains you more affection or not.

But it's more easy with a book honestly. Never tried that so far, because somewhat I managed to kill the crow (the only cheats used are food and the limbs things) and now I can safely save without problems but I don't think that there's a coin flip.

Or yes?
There isn't a coin flip in the book, but there is in finding it. Could you tell which method you used for cheats?

You can:
- Use the RPG maker save editor shared here (but this requires that you at least save your progress. So long story short, find the book or sleep in the bed and then you can modify your save with this)
- Otherwise in real-time there's the MV cheat plugin shared here (and with this like I said, you can change stats and much in real time without the need of saving. Unfortunately finding the variables, in this case for the limbs, here takes a lot of time since there are tons of them before reaching the one that you need. So i probably suggest you to fill the inventory with explosive vial since it seems that are a huge lifesavers against monster - at least for me, those killed all of them almost immediately - as well as food and healing items (though maybe it's useless if you end up killing all the monsters immediately but sometimes happens that the monster still attacks you even if they're completely mutilated), and when you reach for the bed, try your luck. If you end up fighting the crow, try to beat it somehow and then you'll have a safe place without anyone bothering you anymore. Otherwise if you manage to save, then use the editor above if you need to restore some limbs and/or to fill the inventory with the books needed to save without relying on the bed anymore)

This game is too unforgiving for my taste, when every single mob can use an attack with 50% chance of killing you and most of them just cripple you with basic attacks is just too much for me

I was actally thinking about buying it, but the rng things and common instant deaths does hinder me from buying it.

I've only got as far as 5 minutes and already got my left arm hacked by a troll, i cut both his arms, then he tackled me to death in return and proceed to bring me back to his prison cell and raped my ass with his so-called "stinger".
And then he left me crawling on the floor with my bleeding rectum wide open while some imps gnawed on me till i die.

Good shit.

The rape scene's not exactly something you can fap to tho, it's there to complement the horror rather than being erotic. That said it's quite well done in that regard.

I really like what was said there. The game could have been a bit more forgiving, but it's not too bad in that regard. The atmosphere and lore are real strengths here. Even the sound is better than most games (that includes them).

Not sure what to do on the game now, I got one ending but decided to try for another one. Can't kill the crow mauler or head of the wizard, killed the other 2 bosses and found the dead body of the guy I was meant to be looking for. Anyone know what to do to progress further rather than the "Escape?" ending? Also not sure how to use the necromancy ability.

It would be great if someone uploaded a zip version with cheat plugin already enabled.

For those who managed to save a game, there is this great website for editing rpgmaker saves (drag n drop, then save as):
