I'm so sad. The beginning I remember playing (building your character) was so fun to me, and even though it involved a narrative I worried I would not like (if the female agent ended up being on a corruption only narrative with no real agency) I was still really pumped to see where it went because I love the idea of a sexy agent/spy style story in general. But it seems like a really tough lift at this point. I can't even ascribe the intent/thoughts behind someone else so easily, but I just hope it all works out for everyone. (former Patron myself)
I can see why it's off putting when you actually live there.
Personally I just assume that all these games actually take place in strange alternative realities where bizarro porn logic applies. That's just as true when they're presented as grounded in the real world as when they have an explicitly fantastical setting. There are only a handful I've played where people act and react like normal human beings, let alone live somewhere I recognise here on planet earth.

you might be right (though i don't believe onlyfans subs are into this kind of thrill), but there is almost no value in this (as a way how this is done now), just pinnacle of milking business in avn industry, ultimate ponzie scheme.
what we expected here is intelligent, exciting text based adult novel with charachter building and (in some degree) choice-making. I'm stressing text based because we were interested in story, not 3d renders having sex. and what we got is years of playing with avatars while story stays. even bangkok progress could not undone what he did (and i'm affraid this will be all about bkk for long time since he'll return to old habits of recycling old content). whoever choose to play this kind of game, it is story that drag him/her in, not constant play with avatars.
if crush doesn't know how to move on, with money he milked so far he could hired ea, activision or any major gaming companny to fix his mistakes

One of the things I learned from following this since it started is if you're going to support a project it's best to look at people that have actually completed creative projects in the past.
Crush was a manager in some office with a fun idea. He'd never made a game before or published anything. I'm sure we've all worked with people like that who have a great idea but not the learned tools and skills to follow through with it. Sometimes they learn them and hey years later you see their thing.
Crush put out a prologue and suddenly people were throwing money at him for a thing he had zero track record for. He's been supported to learn how to make a game a thing he may or may not be capable of doing.
In retrospect it's a very silly situation.

PS: oh and btw I have to correct you: the prologue isn't finished at all (and believe it or not, compared to what the prologue was x years ago when he decided to remake everything, it actually has less content and a cut down character creation).

I’m kinda sad that there’s no Porn Game youtuber like Internet Historian because this game such a great topic for a video.
Hate to break it to you, but only one of the latter two assertions is actually correct.
I'm not, so I don't talk exactly like that. I do, however, occasionally toss words from my native language in when talking English, or (more frequently, actually) vice versa. And I'm not even the only one in my family; heck, we'd have up to quadruple-lingual conversations if anyone else actually understood when my sister-in-law speaks Danish.
While I'm not Swedish either, I too don't have English as my native language. However, I'd never mix in words from my native language to someone that doesn't speak the other as well -- it wouldn't make sense to them, so I'm not sure what the purpose would be. Perhaps the occasional word, such as an expression or term of endearment.
Same story with everyone and everything, I suppose. We love to make exceptions for ourselves in our heads.

I think this is actually the nub of the issue.
He had a fun idea. That is, he had the premise for a game. But, like many people with a cool idea, he doesn't seem to have any more than that.
The fact that Crush appears to be completely unfamiliar with Thai culture (and even geography) four years into making a game allegedly set in Bangkok speaks volumes to me about the absurdly slow progress of this project. I suspect that if someone were to put a gun to his head (dear mods: this is a metaphor, I am in no way advocating that anyone actually do this) and demand to know how the story ends, he'd have to make something up on the spot.
Our fantasies don't need ends. Stories do, which trips a lot of people up when they try to turn their fantasy into a story.

So are you the girlfriend, one of the simps he's paying to go around complimenting his 'game', or maybe a family member? Must be paying you a lot to look like a clown.
Intelligent people only trash developers who milk their projects, and until Crushstation actually gives a reasonable lie about why the process has been so slow, then it deserves to be called a scam. Female Agent has been in development for, what, five years? Let's put that in perspective. I've gotten my doctorate in the time this game's been in development and I'll probably have my PhD by the time there's any measurable content. That's 1,825 days. Approximately $354,000 over five years without looking at the actual numbers. And what content is there to show for it? Nothing meaningful. That's about as scammy as college textbooks.
It'd be one thing if he was still working daily and had a family to support, but the guy is making enough to pay three months rent in a NY apartment every month. That's more than enough to take significant time off work (or quit entirely, depending on how secure your savings are) and focus on what people are paying you to develop. But instead, he removes a bunch of crap, and in the best case adds a paragraph or two. So, before telling others what they should do, you should probably look at what you're defending.
He did announce he'd quit his day job (funnily enough, he was a project manager) to work full time on FA, almost 2 years ago if my memory doesn't betray me.
Also I'll just say it before another simp mentions it: Yes, he doesn't make the number shown in Patreon. Yes, there are Patreon fees, bank fees, taxes. Yes, we know all of that. Even if he only got half of what's shown, it's still a really nice salary to live pretty much anywhere in the world.

The problem are, he constantly make thing than remove it. The old avatar system was ok, why changing it? Why fix what is not broken? The school and university, even the childhood... He work on it for month.... Then scrap everything.
The game use to have brainwashing and extensive prerogative mission... Not anymore...
It's like Anthem all over again!
