Last time I saw a post of mine actually disappear here was me replying to a guy who devolved into personal attacks. I don't think the general "Crush is slow, milking, deceiving his herd...err patrons, etc" really gets moderated.

Ok so other than Crush taking fucking ages to make any semblance of progress, can we talk about how in 5 years since the “first Sexpionage RPG” was announced only one mission with sexpionage has been adapted. 5 years and this sexpionage game has had to one scene where the heroine sleeps with someone for information, and it’s entirely skippable! For some reason crush decided to rope corruption into sexpionage. So instead of streamlining everything and possibly saving lots of lines of codes to be written, we instead get entire updates filled with how the heroine is so embarrassed that her superiors will see her naked. What a load of Garbo. Crush had a perfectly good thing going in 1.6.3, and has instead extended the dev time beyond reasonability.

Just wanted to write this because I know Crush reads this board, or at least a few members of his team do. I just want there to be reminder that beyond the egregious delays, there is criticism for the in game content. So please by 1.2, let’s have the heroine as a prostitute as it’s been intended since the first fucking update. Let her manipulate a guy into giving her information by sleeping with him, or cozy up to a guy by being good at sex, or date rape a fucking guy idk. Just let there be some god damn sexpionage soon.

I know that, hence me asking@ cheesepie for his justification. Call it a morbid curiosity.
Since you asked, let's just say Crush envisioned this as some sort of open world RPG and now promised MOAR side quests such as girl's night out etc hence the "bad" example of Skyrim. You are absolutely correct, he's a single person so I'm being a bit cheeky / sarcastic in than a HTML porn game needs the polish of open world 3D engine.

On your point of solo development, what we have gotten after 5 years instead is an extremely linear story. So I implore Crush to focus on finishing one main path (sexpionage / slut) BECAUSE he's not got hundreds of people on the team. We're all here for the writing, which is fabulous at best and above average at its worst, so do that and outsource the rest. Authors like Colleen Hoover do a book a year, Game of Thrones was about 3-4 years averagely so maybe 2.5 years for some fap material would be fair?

Thereafter, Crush can add paths and branches galore. Please, before HTML is replaced by the MetaTwitverse and / or I can't fap anymore. Still a fan, but yeah, I've seen too many abandoned games on this site and that makes me sad. Congrats on Crushing COVID and thanks for delaying release during NNN.

People that comment here are so dumb. Like their anger at the speed that the game advances has clouded their judgement. To the dev don't listen to them continue your quest for perfection, your patreons are giving you money for the quality of the writing. Also i really like the pacing of the game. Skyrim took like 6 years and the game is full of bugs, the fighting system sucks and the "Classes"(Aka skills trees) also suck.Take your time, but don't restart the game again, people will apreciate your quest for perfection when the game is finished.

People that comment in there are so dumb. Like their crush at Crush's crushing apologies with fancy words has clouded their judgement. To the dev don't listen to them continue your quest for perfect suction, your patreons are giving you milk for the quality of the cream. Also i really like the consistency of your cream. Elite Dangerous took like 10 years and the game is still in development, the fighting system sucks and the "Classes"(Aka skills trees) also suck. Take your time, but don't restart the game again, people will appreciate your quest for perfect suction when the development reached 20 years.

Thou professes the divine truth that Skyrim was an unmitigated disaster of a game, cursed by critics and players alike and doomed to have no sequels or forever to be bound in development hell. I confess to be as retarded as it is terrible, for fear of an arrow to the knee.

By Sept 2023 (Year 6) I'd be glad to play a true version 1.0 Female Agent which is full of bugs, with any gameplay that sucks, that has "Classes"(Aka life path) which also suck because hey, patches and mods exist but right now CONTENT does not. I do find it weird though that game devs seem to have no standard versioning requirements. One of the reasons I tried FA is because I though version 1.0 and above are finished content wise (barring DLCs, patches etc)

Anyway, only 2 ways to respond to criticism:
1) acknowledge constructive feedback and adapt to get better outcomes (in this case, faster releases to finished game)
2) ignore and delete this comment, then come up with another update (aka excuse)

If Crush ever reads this, I sure hope you are the former (growth mindset) rather than latter because there's always something to blame. You are a talented writer, so please set MFAGA timelines and KEEP TO THEM.

How fair is comparing this game to Skyrim?

Skyrim is running on engine called Gamebryo, which was created in 2001 and since then turned into a Frankenstein of a video game engines, working with it is tedious and you're quite literally struggling in order to make it work. Lookup history of Gamebryo, it's quite entertaining.

In our case Crush is not struggling with Twine/Sugarcube, he's not struggling drawing visual assets or making music. Crucial bottleneck is writing, for some mysterious reason he's taking forever to write scenes and dialogues. Is he Mayakovsky?

That is why I don't think FA and Skyrim is comparable.

Well, it's been a while, but personally I'm glad to see the main mission finally progressing.

That said: is it weird that I find myself missing the training missions? The wet t-shirt nights and the hypno conditioning and so forth? I can see that a lot of people might have been keen to get on with the new stuff, but it would be nice to have an option to play the old content, or just to skip it if you'd done it ten times before.

Without getting into technicalities (It's "technically" not called Gamebryo now yaddayadda) but even then, it's not going to fly. And yes, I agree with you that the problem is writing, not the engine, but since people somehow seem to be fixated on Gamebryo/Creation Engine...

Fallout New Vegas was made in 18 months (and yes, it was and is pretty buggy) and the developers praised the game engine for how quick it made it to cobble everything together.

So no, Skyrim and FA are not comparable for many reasons, but one of them is that if you actually want to compare them, FA loses on so many fronts it's embarrassing.

I need a count of people who think that a Skyrim/FA comparison is meaningful, for raisins.

It's like comparing apples to Harrier Jump Jets. There's a few points of similarity, but there really isn't much you can infer about either one from a detailed examination of the other.

Take your time crush, and my hard earned money. Take my kidneys too, I don't need em.

No wonder there's such a disparity between the rich and the poor. People have no fucking sense.

Hey guys! I'm recovering well from COVID. I'm getting tired early and sleeping a lot, but I'm improving every day and feel almost back to normal. Thanks to everyone who sent me well-wishes, your good vibes obviously worked.
I got back to work this week, and here's where we're at with the much delayed next episode:

I feel like the hardest parts are done now (build-up scenes are much harder to write than sex scenes), so I'm anticipating fast progress. It won't be ready by Wednesday 30th, but it should be ready in the early days of next month. I will keep you posted and I apologise again for how long this has taken.

Coming soon – dynamic NPC avatars
A little thing we're working on! An important part of the mission and the story are the NPC bargirls. Currently their avatars are just AI generated headshots:

Our illustrator lovely Victoria is working on something cool – dynamic NPC avatars, whose appearance changes based on what's happening in the scene. Concept art:

The idea (which I think was based on a suggestion by Falconeer) is basically to add more eye candy to the game. It's one thing to read about the heroine's friends and colleagues stripping off for a pole show or a girl/girl oil fight: our hope is that getting to see some original art will add a little something special to those scenes.
This feature should debut in the next episode. Please let us know what you think when you see it!

That's actually a good idea. The current NPC avatars aren't very attractive and I'd even say they look kind of creepy.
