So they dropped everything in the latest version? ...

good I am not a supporter of this hot mess. I mean I loved the old version and I think the idea is great. And even the new look and stuff is fun, but man - they really need to get their shit together and have a good plan how to proceed with their game and deliver some content now.

To give anyone an idea, Good Girl Gone Bad, Insexity, and Zombie's Retreat have all fully launched over the last 3 years, while this game barely tackles the prologue.
It's sad, because this game's writing style does something for me, that others just don't. It's the way you do all these erotic things, but it's all supposed to be super normal, since you're a secret agent, but there's always the tugging feeling in the back of your mind, that everyone's secretly lusting after you back at base. Especially once you get into the hypno content. Seeing a girl be so simultaneously adept at getting her way as an agent, but also completely at the mercy of a secret agency that could delete her existence if they wanted to is the hottest thing I could ever think of. And it seems I won't be getting a decent amount of it.

Crush is actually a genius. He managed to make the story more believable; there is a higher chance that an agent will agree to go undercover as a waitress and slowly evolve into a stripper, than her accepting to be one from the start. Also this way he can reuse the same story he wrote 3-4 years ago with the the T-Shirt contents and say that is brand new content in the long awaited Bangkok.

My guess is that in the next update, our agent will reach Bangkok and get the job. And after that Crush will say that the experiment is over, that life path is more important, he will go back where he left of, to the University & early CIA part of the story, then he will rewrite Scotland to have mind control again and so on.

This game will never be finished. The amount on new content written per update is incredible. He probably writes a new sentence per week and reuse old content in the rest of the time.

Seriously?
SERIOUSLY?!
How many years have we been stuck at the same point now?!
If you're not going to get to the main story, at least add some new content onto the existing story.
It feels like I've been playing the same game every few months since 2019.
I'd be happy to resubscribe as a patron if there was some indication this game will _EVER_ be finished.

Well, this game's development is a meme at this point. Such a good idea, with good presentation, but the development is in hell.

see you all in another few years.

Did he finally change that story, that would have just led to a constant grind of sex scenes...which was promised as a *feature? Good on him...I guess.
I truly feel that he had that idea of an undercover agent in a brothel but when he reached that part in the story he just had no idea what do do with it. Because it is such a stupid premise, that only works for a short porn movie/scene, not for a game in which he has to write scenes and dialogue.

Then he just (re)worked everything before the Bankok Part, expanded everything there just to put it off more and more. At least he finally after 4 years decided to move forward. Love that people have been telling him that for years, but he always told them no.

Damn I used to be a patron of this game. Really still have a lot of morbid curiosity.

My vote goes for this one. Something along the lines of "This was a very succesful experiment! I learned so much and I feel like now I'm ready to tackle some challenges. That's why now I will rewrite the intro so that the Bangkok segment can be the best thing ever!"

He managed to take out content again.

This is such a magical project. I think I've lost count how often that has happened by now.

To be honest, I wouldn't be mad if that were the case. As long as I see actual progress I don't mind fleshing out earlier parts of the story and I actually did like the approach with the childhood and college stuff. However at some point you have to deliver more than just the prelude to the actual story and he did miss on that for years. We currently have the third (?) version of a game engine or whatever you want to call it, so he can hardly scrap it again. Sad thing is, even though I do like dice rolling, it doesn't matter. Nothing really changes, if you hit or miss.

What baffles me is that he did change to a new system a while ago in order to allow other people to contribute texts and scences. If you do this, how come we still don't get more content every now and then? They even seem to have an artist who does all the clothing images and stuff and even if I think it is nice to look at, I really don't need a barbie doll creator. I like the avatar, it is fine, but I have yet to encounter a scene where the clothing did matter. And the previous version of the engine hat the same issue. Totally wrong priorities, even if the content was done well.

Changing the premise from being a whore to being a bartender is probably a wise choice, but who knows, whatever happens, once we get to Bangkok. By the time we get there, we might be a cab driver, driving a flying space taxi from outer space doing cyberpunk things.

Again, I don't mind that. An open world idea was a bad idea to begin with, so I don't have a problem with that move. Just make progress that brings us closer to the actual story instead of redoing the prologue time and time again. I mean, it is obvious that he has no idea what he actually wants to do, once we reach Bangkok. Otherwise we would have gotten there years ago. Or maybe I should phrase it differently? Maybe he has an idea, but doesn't know how to pull it off, considering that he can barely deliver the prelude.

The game is promising. Nobody ever doubted that, but it has never left the state of being promising. 1.12 is big disappointment. Yes, we finally left for Malaysia, but the entire prelude was temporarily scrapped, because the interlude is still missing and the actual Malaysia content is rather... slim. Two months of development for one scene? Why? His own discord is mentioning this, too. I don't have access to the analysts+ section, but it's not like everybody is in love with it.

A better stop here as the post is already longer that I wanted it to be. Imagine I had a Patreon account for that sort of post, I probably could have gotten 6 months of stipends from that.
