I don't think it's a "side quest" or called anything. It's just what happens if she applies for the job and has no piercings (and possibly no tattoos.) Like I said, I only ran into that on a total prude playthrough.
To be honest, I haven't seen names for any of the quests (main, secondary, nor side).

It's not a side quest. If your agent has the smallest tits she needs to get them pierced to get the job. Connor tells her that after the interview at his place.

God, this used to be such a fun game but now it's just a dumpster fire. I'm bored enough to want to play it though, so.... what content's even in there? Has the dev added the childhood prologue back in?

Seems like there are only 3 kinds of questions/answers in this game:
  1. Say "Yes" or Quit the game
  2. Say "Yes" or skip secondary missions
  3. Flavor text that is ultimately meaningless
My though exactly, I played it on browser and I find these "choices" rather pointless, there's not much replay-ability since there are hardly any alternative choices in the first place.

I just discovered this game (finished it), it's pretty interesting. The storytelling is pretty good actually. Pretty engaging.
The whole trip in that abandoned building is pretty good.

In a better world, I would have suggested Cloud 10. The writing in that game is fantastic and I think the random event system would have worked well in FA. However, it has been abandoned for awhile so it's lacking overall content.

Sure! But if that life left them with too obvious markers, too high-profile rep without the perfect spot for cover or other "marks of life" that makes their job harder, they will never pass the initial evaluation before their training even starts. It's not like spy-agencies have shortage of applicants and most probably have previous military or law enforcement training, which should also discourage too obvious markers (you really don't want to get into surgery with tattoos, nor to get picked up by recognizable tattoo on your free time, if you don't know why, google).

Glad to see the story finally progressing, still doesnt seem like any of your choices matter, and I'm not sure i like content being hidden behind attributes you need to choose at start. You should be able to pick up submissive, exhibitionist, masochist, etc thru your choices.

My other complaint is why every sex scene needs to go to fucking, should be able to blow a guy for information, or even better (for story purposes) give him a hand job without letting him dump a load in your twat.... especially since you aren't on the pill.

That is indeed a bit odd. The agent is whoring herself out at this point despite changing the game so you're no whore anymore and she isn't even on the pill? She is getting f*cked/raped and filled up by Connor from the get go and is fine with all the groping, but being a bargirl is out of the question? The speed of the corruption is way too fast. Either have her put up a fight or don't have her do these things at this point.

Apart from that, I like the new update. I still don't understand why we have to do all this dice rolling and why our skills are going up, when none of them mean anything, but I like it. I hope that we might even get monthly or bi-monthly updates at this point. I know, it isn't very likely, but I do like the world that is being fleshed out, the relationships that you build with the other girls. I could get used to the planned schedule :D

Now if only we could bring back the backstory and make choices actually matter...

One thing that is annoying, however, is the constant changing of clothes. They look nice and all, but putting them on every other screen is annoying. Especially, when it doesn't really matter what you're wearing.

Yeah, being able to save a set of clothes and makeup would be really helpful.

Show up to work: select work uniform with makeup. One option bam you're in.

Honestly, I'm so sick of games that have an excess of handjob/blowjob scenes that I'm not too bothered by this. Although, it would be nice to have more choices in the sex scenes (changing position, having a second round, asking for anal, etc). The agent is never allowed to take the initiative at all, she just has stuff done to her.

I absolutely hate it how many, maybe even most, adult games here are filled with handjobs and blowjobs that never escalate beyond that. In most cases it is painfully obvious the only reason being to reduce work required, or to drag on the story. But the irony here is that this is one of a very few cases where those would make sense. Since you are playing a reluctant participant in most encounters so far it would make perfect sense for her to try to get around without getting fucked, especially on camera.

Unlike those other games where you play a horny teenager alone with a horny MILF, both consenting and ready to go, and then the scene ends in a handjob... what? I think I've seen that scene play out a thousand times since signing up on this forum.

Back to this game. I must say, after giving this a thorough go after years, I am very pleased about the quality of the writing and overall presentation. Once again I find myself wishing for this to get fleshed out and become one of the greatest games, it certainly has the potential. Time will tell, I guess. Best of luck to the devs!

PS: Keeping my fingers crossed for more content related to birth control. Just so delightfully kinky thinking the likes of Connor not giving two shits about consequences. And since risk of pregnancy is not a kink everyone shares it could easily be locked behind a trait or setting. And with things like narcotics and stress already set up as part of the game, those could factor in if she remembers to keep up with the pills. So many options!

Yes birth control is an important thing for establishing that the protagonist is a female. Men might not think about it that much, but a savvy, aware, adult female would.

I only recently discovered this game so I'm not jaded about it yet. Played through the most recent version and then tried some of the older ones that still had the life-sim stuff with more character customization, and while I absolutely love that kind of stuff in games and I think it could have made for an extremely good game if carried out all the way through, I will say the current game still works even without all that stuff, some of the game's potential may have been stripped but what's left now feels more polished and cohesive in some departments (although personally I still feel more affection for the original project, but it is a matter of taste).

I think the main pros of the new game are that:

The presentation is better, the old ones already had some implemented graphical elements but they weren't quite as immersive and gripping as the way it is handled in the new content.

The writing of the spy stuff and in general feels much more grounded and focused, I liked the life-sim stuff of the old content but the actual spy stuff was kinda too "porny". The new content feels more sensible about how a spy mission could end up going down this way rather than "the CIA/MI6 are purposefully training their agents to be hyper-sexual fiends and everyone is kinda horny about it".

I like the sexual progress in the new content better, although I recognize that's probably because I treated the new content as more of an adult novel than straight up porn. The progression makes more sense because the MC is better characterized as "fully prepared, but not experienced" and she plays her cover story well. Sex only happens in a "need to" basis, she's willing to trade sexual favors with her bosses when it is occasionally demanded but doesn't initially agree with being fully whored out, even though that's obviously what her bosses are slowly trying to push her towards. That fits the scenario of a somewhat "loose" girl in a difficult situation, which is her cover. I like that most of the kinkyness comes from her privately coping with the sexual stuff the mission entails rather than a "too much sex will rot her brain" porn trope.

Now the main cons of the new game:

Since the life-sim stuff was stripped, there's less backstory to make certain moments of the game more impactful, e.g I think that the first scene with Connor would have been much more impactful when he fucks her raw regardless of her asking for a condom if it had happened after the life-sim stuff where the player could have always had the MC have her way and made sure sex would only occur with a condom, it would have made for a stronger cut between "what you could do in your everyday life back home" to "what you're going to have to do and the people you will have to deal with as you play the role the mission demands".

This is a con of both versions kinda but I felt it more in the new one, I don't like when games have "pretend complexity", it just looks super ugly to me when the game has exposition for a bunch of mechanics and stats that end up barely ever being used. If you are not sure if you are going to actually use a stat or a mechanic, feel free to implement it but do it out of the player's sight as a hidden mechanic, it makes those slight differences feel neater when replaying the game since they feel more like little easter eggs. But if you start presenting a bunch of things as strategical elements of the player's choice but it ends up never used, it just feels frustrating. E.g different nationalities being said to have different perks for their agents (I think I saw a whole 1 time where an extra dialogue option popped up from being MI6), the "insights" and "reputation" mechanics also got exposition but have barely been used for anything yet and I'm wary of them being pretend complexity.

Overall it is a really good game though, I had a lot of fun playing through it and I hope development goes well.
