"Anime characters look like children" seems like one of those disingenuous statements by people who don't have valid reasons for hating it other than not liking it. Just like with any other art style, there is good anime art with enough detail and variation between characters and there's bad anime art with bad proportions and low amount of detail.
But even with the worse ones, you actually have to be pretty stupid to look at adult anime characters and think they're children just because of their faces.

I mostly agree with you that it is rather lazy criticism, but what is true is that anime exaggerates neotenous features like big eyes, small nose, relatively large head and so on. I think that is what they get at. Sorry to CboyC for the offtopic.

With the same quality of images, characters, story and game mechanics. Most of the full lesbians I see don't have all the exploration mechanics, quests, images. It's always just the common visual novel (reading and a few choices after reading a lot), without as much content as a Being a Dick, for example.
There are a lot of full lesbians there, like Bad Memories, which have good renders, but like Being a Dik's I really don't think any game with a full lesbian patch is that good

Those games you mentioned are great games, but you don't have all the exploration mechanics and all the gameplay of a BaD. They are more visual novel than a sand-box.
Champions has no good render as Being a Dik, they seem to sacrifice a little image quality in exchange for game size. BaD is absurdly heavy and the images are pretty good.
Dog Days I also follow and play, but it doesn't have the same level of exploration as BaD, and the images are also quite small.
Games made with illusion game sprites I don't think they count as good renders, after all, it's something already done by a big softhouse. It's just taking the work of others. If it's to see the dolls from the illusion game I prefer to download the original game and make the dolls as I prefer (ie, without gigantic breasts)
Yes, I too would dream of a full lesbian game as big and high quality as that one.
I haven't played Being a Dik because I'm not really interested in playing straight games, but the game looks like it has a good quality, but it's also because it's a game that receives a good amount of money, not only it has a lot of paterons but also the game has been very well received on steam and has very good sales for an erotic game.
lesbian games on the other hand are for a minority, the games that we have had here of quality like the mentioned champions of liberty, Dog Days of Summer or Sunville, are from smaller developers that make these games as a hobby.
just look at the number of patreons that the developer of Being a Dik has, not even the sum of several lesbian developers reaches half the number of patreons.
sadly, I don't think we will ever see a full lesbian game like that.

I'm generally lukewarm about sandboxes, there are just too many with excessive grind. And for all its hype and pretty renders, I have never cared for BADik and I'm hesitant to try it out, because I fear the storywriting is going to be an awful tropefest. It is also said to have the trope of a lesbian couple who are readily up for a threesome with a male MC, some of the worst porn cringe around. I cannot say that instills a lot of confidence about the developer's writing skill in me.
It has, but you kind of need to know what you are doing in exploring that game if you want to avoid straight scenes. It's also a very different genre than sandboxes.
