If i take myself, i can say that i do not watch lesbian sex as porn. I do like to see some form of BDSM but that is it.

Japanese games are almost always released as completed, so they don't farm likes, views and reviews like western games that keep being updated weekly for years.

Doesn't mean they aren't as popular if not more, it's just that f95 rating system completely favors older games that are never completed instead.

In fact probably every western femprotag game was inspired by japanese ones in the first place, they have shown how much potential and interest straight guys have in playing femprotag games.
