I've been jacking it to Futa porn for years, did you really think you could slip this by me?
The doggystyle witch image and bunny one is also stolen, but I have too much shit in my folder and I can't find it rn, but considering the "art style" changes with every image, I'd say all of them are traced
Well, that's certainly disappointing to see. Not the first developer to do that on here though.

There's no need to get your panties in a bunch over using the same positions. I mean, could you imagine if only the first person to discover anal seggs were able to depict fucking someone in the ass?

Damn, when I saw your comment, I thought it was one of those "similar poses=traced" posts, but this is actually sad to see.
Like, I get it when it's trying to re-create a pose from a picture and, with how many pictures and poses there are, there's bound to be similarities, but this is literal definition of "tracing", you can see that lines in Survival's art straight-up "trace" the original art.
I know that it sounds kinda dumb, but with how often people start thinking that the art is traced because the poses are kind of similar, seeing art that is that blatantly traced is kind of heartbreaking, especially considering how much I enjoyed this game gameplay-wise.

Yes, the fact that it's being passed off as original work and being sold is the larger issue here. Either way, I haven't bothered replying to any of those posts, because there is no point.

ANYONE who has spent YEARS learning a skill or a craft, has spent HOURS creating and producing something, instinctually knows the feeling of frustration that comes when someone takes your work and puts their own name on it.

The people who are saying they don't care if it's traced don't have that feeling, they CAN'T have that feeling. Because the only thing they have spent years on is some random game on steam, the only thing they spend hours on is masturbating, and the only thing they have ever produced is the wriggling mass of sperms blasted onto a tissue, to be discarded with ease later on.
It's simply beyond their understanding.

I've found more traced art but won't bother posting it here, as clearly no one cares. I've reached out to the original artists, pointed them to the Patreon page, and let them sort it out on their own.

Peace.
PLEASE post more, this is absolutely hilarious and amazing.
You are a hero, sir.
On another note, it's pretty weird how the dev thought he could get away with this. Someone randomly recognizing any of the traced art was bound to happen from the very beginning.
It's a shame since this game was one of the few very promising upcoming games for the futa-on-male niche, but it should absolutely be discontinued and abandoned. UNLESS the dev:
1. Apologize to the original artists.
2. Credit their work.
3. Get approval from them to continue to use the traced artworks.
4. Get approval from them to trace new artwork for future updates (since he can't make them by himself lol).
Probably not going to happen.

A bit frustrating...
So many enemies with restricting attacks and the ones that screw with your inventory, ESPECIALLY YOUR WEAPON, are frustrating as hell. Mobility is really, really important and yet simultaneously is hampered by a fuckton of other debuffs as well as many pieces of armor/clothing... Which is not so great and makes it practically impossible to avoid some attacks as even the blowback spell and fireball knockdown don't seem to actually STOP the enemy once they've started a rushing attack. At best, it nudges them away for a half-sec'.
If their rushing attack is continuous, it'll just keep going and you'll have done jack shit.

Lotta cases where you get swarmed and literally cannot move without being vacuumed into plaps by enemies that aren't even moving...
And against the bunny boss? I beat the boss, but then got plap'd by their grunts and apparently that despawned all the loot I got from that slog of a fight.

Nuclear fucking take but:
This is a perfect example against the principles of copyright.
Art that could be game assets is sometimes better as game assets, as evidenced by people caring for the infinite Twine porn asset flips on here. A piece's content should not suffer because the artist doesn't have the means to create all the pieces required to fill it out, because of the potential to create something greater than the sum of it's parts. Not all painters paint fictional buildings. Now imagine budgeting¹ the art and/or correspondence into every project. Maybe all those fan films and games memory holed by the DMCA, should have just bought² the copyright?

My point is that the end product should be the thing that matters. If all the games I am working on in my spare time poofed onto the Internet the next day with no relation to me, it would still be great³, for them to exist. I am no narcissist in this regard, but am unable to say which position is more "normal"⁴, this I concede.

The money from the good digital art is generated basically by donations (this site being a prime example why). The thing to consider here is: the "good" piece of some arts is the combination of not only all the pieces of other arts used in it, but the touch of the arts used to combine them. No backdrop can save a bad play and no matter how good the CGI is, bad direction can ruin a movie. So are people donating for the art or for the game? (And there very much is a game here, the combination of mechanics is novel.) I imagine "starving artist" thing might come up, but it seems unrelated because the final artist may also deserve to be paid for the programming and game design.

The last thing to consider is preventing the donators from finding the original authors of the pieces modified for the game. I know people credit the originals of the sprites they have edited, for example, so it's probably reasonable to expect some mention of the traced sources. I think moving from enjoying a game enjoying it's illustrator just as much or more is unlikely⁵ (even more so with how much more traced art modifies the images), but that's besides the main point. It being: including the sources in the credits would still upset people. Just look at the people above asking the dev to spend time he could be using on the development on correspondence (which wouldn't even come up if this whole thing weren't discovered). What the fuck do you expect him to do if they say no? Burn everything? Make new, worse illustrations?
Artist having control over their art kills so much new art, I cannot believe the "it protects creative expression" is even an argument for copyright.

Clarifications
¹Time is also part of the budget for all the obvious reason.
²Disney and the like are publicly traded, so must take *some* price to license the copyright to a fan circle. It being unreasonable for the circle to raise the money to pay the inordinate price is a separate issue I use to highlight some things being out of one's personal budget.
³Unless they turn out bad. Then I would have to still work on them, but the public would be soured to the ideas.:(
⁴If you are considering replying you probably also have feeling about this too strong to pass Jury Selection. We are interested parties in this, not a "reasonable people".
⁵Art is made great by the context. It's the reason people play games and not just scroll through the "Game CG" rip on their site of choice. Games usually add context, and, unless it has negative aesthetic/fun value, improve the original piece, at least from the perspective of a gamer of the target audience.

Sorry for the essay, but I am adamant about this, and it must be said.

I was gonna say "Stealing is bad" to reference the tracing of the art. Then I remembered where I am, and had to make myself feel better. So I'm gonna say "Stealing is bad, unless its effortless!" cause he put some work in tracing it, and it didn't take me even 2 minutes to download a pirated copy.

So traced or not, the biggest question is: When will we see more?

hopefully the dev is going to just continue shipping builds with not a single fuck given and let people decide themselves if they support it or not. Im in camp (more builds) if its not obvious.

Of course friend, of course, you're absolutely right. Here's another accidental imitation I found. I don't think the "artist" will mind me posting it since it's not traced like you said, merely a subconscious inspiration

well... in this scenario, i guess our boy quinn has to step up his fucking game bro.

look at his idol, filling that slime catgirl up with cum, while ourboy barely taints her, either he was drained by others before this one, or he has low storage capacity

Response to the drawing tracing discussion, don't be afraid to tell me your thoughts if you think differently! I'm always open to discussing and I won't be mad at arguments!

1. My schedule is shitty, to say the least.
Every day, I spend something close to 6 hours at college and the rest of the time studying for college exams and working on the game. My college is the second-hardest in my country, and I have to prioritize it to some degree. Before the creator Patreon made enough Money for me to quit my previous part-time job, I was working and studying for 12 hours every day, all while working on the game at the same time. Best way to describe my current situation is that I have very little time to have fun and talk to friends, and I work/study for about 14 hours non-stop. Lack of time was the first reason.

2. Femboy Survival is not a product.
I love games, I've played ero games for a while now, and I've Always wanted to make my own. Femboy Survival is my first try at something I had in mind for the future, not something I thought would be liked by so many people, so I thought I was doing something for myself and maybe a small handful of people who liked Femboys as well. If you're a supporter on Patreon, that means you support the work that I put on the internet for free, I'm not selling you anything other people created. When you play parody games that use characters from manga/anime, the creator is also using other people's creative work to do something of their own, I don't think that is wrong as well because it doesn't take something away from the creator himself.

I'll say it again, to make it clear. You're NOT purchasing Femboy Suvival, it's free software available to everyone and was started as a fun side project for me. If you think what I'm doing harms other people in any way, you don't need to pay me any money in order to play what I build.

The second reason is that I don't charge for other people's artwork.

3. I am still learning.
I could never do some of the things I wanted to in reasonable time if I hadn't used references to nail anatomy at first, I've started learning to draw at the beginning of the year. Having that in mind, I tried picking references from (mostly AI) packs in sites like Luscious.com, to nail the shapes and the positioning of the characters, but you can see I did less and less of that as time went on. Sometimes I go back to it when I'm on a very tight schedule and I can't spare time to sketch before I need to publish something. After more and more people started to support me, I could spare some Money and time to buy and take online courses to learn anatomy and animation. Once I move on to a proper commercial project, I won't do what I did her. Meaning I had to choose between building a noncommercial project I wanted to build or giving up for a year or so before I could learn the basics, I chose the former because of the reason I'll write below, but the third reason is that I wanted to learn anatomy WHILE building my first project, instead of doing both things separately.

Given the situation, I've decided to start the project like that, mostly to practice and gain experience, and I understand if you think there's something wrong with it. Here's what I think in ethical terms:

What I do is like writing fan fiction, using established characters as a basis. Imagine every parody game/series/story uses character design, writing, reputation/fame and other things from franchises with a large degree of success. If I posted my drawings online, they wouldn't amount to anything by themselves. What gives Femboy Survival it's 'kick' is that the artwork mixes with the context, gameplay and the fetish themes, besides it being about 1/4 of my workload on average. Finally, the drawings sometimes follow the shape of other drawings, but that's it, the majority of the time is spent painting and adding detail, all of which I use no references for. Absolutely everything in Femboy Survival comes exclusively from my head, except the shapes/anatomy used in some of the sex scenes. But the main thing is that nobody is paying for it, that's basically it.

Also, if I traced something from any of you and you want it taken down, I don't mind! As I said, it's a side project while I'm finishing college and I don't want to sell it at any point. I don't think what I do is wrong but I'd remove the pictures to make sure I don't get in fights with artists that I admire and have always enjoyed!

the mental gymnastics people do to defend traced art is incredible. just say you're a gormless braindead coomer. it's fine. people jerk off to ai slop. you don't need to write a dissertation about your embarrassing support of tracing people's work.
I have to agree I'm a gormless braindead coomer, but I'm not selling anyone anything, that's the thing for me. Femboy Survival is free real estate!

yikes, no credit to original artists either... only thing that would have made it "ok" for me.
I'm grateful for you sharing your thoughts! I agree on this btw, you're completely right. I didn't forget to credit anyone on purpose tho, that's because I didn't add credits at all at this point. No marketing, no team, no time, also not selling, just me and whatever I manage to do in my free time from college, for free, for everyone who wants to get it and give it a go.
I'll keep that in mind and try to be more transparent in the future. The tracing thing isn't a secret btw, I've talked about it in the discord server, just didn't think about writing anything for it in the game itself because, again, I'm not selling.
