I agree that the sub is, maybe counterintuitively, the person who should have the most power to define a BDSM relationship. Even in CNC, the sub should consent to some pre-discussed boundaries. Not everything has to be explicitly consented to, but harder kinks should absolutely require explicit consent at some point beforehand and everything that the sub has made off limit should be off limit. Just trying out kinks randomly and waiting for the sub to use the safeword or not is no way to do things, it's a recipe for abuse.

A dom may of course also contribute to defining the relationship by refusing to perform certain acts, and also shapes it in practice by preferring some acts over others. But the sub sets the most important boundaries.

Here's a... somewhat begrudging addition. This game does contain 2 nicely-rendered femdom scenes, (and some lezdom based on the pictures although I couldn't find it myself) and honestly has at least 1 female character with great potential to become a dominant mistress, but the game seems to make all the romance paths vanilla/maledom-oriented, with the femdom scenes just as "random encounters" that can happen when you rummage through the possesion of female crewmates on your spaceship. Some characters are also inconsistent, one of them being infatuated with and submissive towards MC originally to only jarringly become very dominant for one scene, and another that originally hated MC and talked down to him falls very easily and unexplainably in love with him after the player earns a few love points from her, so the writing is not exactly high quality, but the game has a couple of nice femdom scenes which some of you might like to check out, so here it is:

To all: I will not be participating with the same frequency as I used to in discussions from now on for the foreseeable future [probably some months], due to quite a number of time-constraints I am facing. I will check in often tho to see if any game suggestions are posted, and will update the list with a frequency of once/week if everything goes smoothly.

When we say "mistag", we generally mean that the game contains very few femdom scenes and is very likely to not be enjoyable for most femdom fans (at least usually). For people who dislike femdom however, the tag exists only so they know which games NOT to play, because they want to avoid it at all costs (as most of us do with "maledom"), so it's unlikely f95 will change things in this regard. It would be nice if we could have a "dedicated femdom" tag, meaning at least a route of a particular game is 100% femdom, but I honestly have no idea how one would go about getting devs/the website to recognize and use a new tag... :unsure:
Regardless, we have the list and, for the few of us who have mostly finished it, there are descriptions, pictures, posts on the game thread etc, all of which can, most of the time, give you a good idea if a game is mistagged or not.

A post about some new updates that left me disappointed/with mixed feelings.

So we have new updates of Summer Scent and Sexbot. Both have femdom routes of course. Sexbot pushes femdom content further with a new update adding new scene and new kinks (facesitting, pegging and some more), but - and that's weird - seems to punish the player for choosing femdom options by not allowing such player to progress the story and forces said player to replay (it's a sci-fi story) already played scenes and choose differently. I wrote about it on game's thread and the dev wrote a PM to me asking for a feedback. Maybe I'm mistaken and I've misread the dev/game and that's not his intention to force us on any specific path.

Summer Scent aims - it seems - for more of a loving femdom, so the relationship with Cassie looks like it develops in a direction of female led relationship, she even gives bj to MC (which I found disappointing) and there's no femdom scenes at all, though it's heavily hinted that there will be - possibly big - scene in the next update.

So, yeah, the femdom content and route(s) will be further developed. The forced replay will stay for us (femdom players) unfinished for now, until future update. But there's no fear that the game's moving away from femdom.
