a) The only way to avoid chastity is to spend favour. At Zoe's maximum dominance, I think it's 40 to avoid getting locked, and 60 to get out.
b) To avoid feminization, just... don't do it. You're never forced into anything.

I believe both games are being worked on together, I would guess that's why sluggish updates on this game.

I release one new version every month, but I switch between Zoe and Emily. So that's one release every 2 months for each one.
Every update has one erotic event and one narrative event, alongside a few general improvements. After a year on the game, this is the pace of work I feel comfortable with, to keep things balanced between my day job, family and this project.
To give an idea, that's about 2h of work per day, every day. Realtime games are bit time consuming to create

You need to set it as "executable", I'm from Windows and I can't do it for MacOS when uploading the files.mac version don't work
itch.io does the job for you with the paid version, but for the free version you will need to look how to make a Unity game executable on MacOS by googling it.
