Okay, I just finished playing both versions of game (male on Futa/Futa on male).
First, let me say that I Liked the 1st version better; where the MC was helping to restore the house.

(this new bit with Calla, potion, alien/mutant Isabella, and the portals is twisted)
Second, why do We have to choose? Why can't We have BOTH!! (obviously Rhetorical)
- too many homophobic men out there who ONLY want to F*ck futa's (or anything that walks)

- But IT Really should work BOTH Ways; don't you think? MC having sex (giving & receiving) with both girls.

I personally like switch content; I think the thing that sucks is recently most devs just do futa tops, and they tend to be dommes as well. Even if you like futa/trans topping it's annoying that there always seems to be a domme/sub dynamic in recent work (speaking for myself) and they're basically third gender uber humans. Personally I'd prefer more content that mirrors actual trans people and real life non-BDSM dynamics, but that is in short supply. Not a dig at any particular work, just looking at the VN ecosystem as it currently exists.

True, there is a marked differentiation of what it means when using the term, but, unless you're from Japan, the Western definition reigns here in the West. There should be a comment in the definition you supplied, that it is the Japanese definition, not the West's.
