This is correct. Usually, when people ask me when the update will be released, I'll say "When it's done." Recently, I've stopped saying that and started saying "Soon.", which means the update is indeed wrapping up.

Fair enough.

So is it "Wocket" instead of "Rocket" intentionally? If so I'm very curious about the context.

And it's true. This is my first time writing here, but the game is very attractive because it is very close to reality (or tries to be), which is why many of us can somehow imagine ourselves in the hero's place. Probably, this is one of the most honest games, so to speak, in terms of fantasies about a hot mom or aunt.
And I also like that the game has a so-called "game over". The author tells how not to act (including in real life) and maybe some of us will learn something for ourselves. And I like the humor, even though I am younger than the author (I was born in 1993), I understand almost all the jokes.

In general, of all three games that I am waiting for, this is the most interesting, the others are Seaside Mystery and Spooky Milk Life. And your game is the most interesting and expected by me, it really feels "alive" unlike most games in NSFW in my opinion.

Thank you for the wonderful & thoughtful message.

I don't know if I would say I was trying to make a realistic game, per se. Perhaps what you mean is that the story doesn't rely on things like mind control or supernatural forces to help the attraction/seduction between Meredith and MC along and tries to find a more natural way for them to come together.

I'm not sure where I came up with the idea of Meredith being worried that she has been failing as a single mother and that she became exasperated that she "forgot" to teach her grown son how to talk to girls. All I can say is it's been a productive formula. (y)

The "Game Over" popups when MC "dies" is a total homage to games I grew up playing like King's Quest IV, Leisure Suit Larry III, and Police Quest II during the early 90's. When you died, you'd get this obnoxious pop up with a picture of the game dev and they would taunt you like assholes, except in THOSE games, you really were screwed because there was no Retry. You were forced to either 1) start the game over, 2) load from a save game, or 3) quit the game.

I of course subscribe to the philosophy that (in an adventure game) you should never put the player into a predicament that they can't quest their way back out of. In 50K, the "deaths" are just a way to lightly admonish the player, but also reward exploration without any REAL consequences.

Humor is such a large part of this game (imo). I would be shocked if anyone gets ALL the jokes, myself included, because there are references everywhere--in the dialogue, the artwork, the story beats, and even the music.

I was explaining to someone the other day that Scott's catch phrase "Exactamundo" came from a 1988 cringey Head and Shoulders commercial starring two douches. :ROFLMAO:

My philosophy is that if you're going to commit to a game world where you have a character that you have to walk around, the game world should be as inviting and as dynamic as is possible for a 2D cartoon game. I come from the world of music, so I put a lot of emphasis on soundtrack and foley (SFX). Of course the game has rain and snow and the skies change with the time of day. In 0.6, you'll start to see evening (dusk) skies and cars in places you never saw them before as a way to build on the game's world.

The cliché of supernatural games is honestly boring, as is the one with protagonists who look nerdy, perverted, with an exaggeratedly huge penis, and who use some kind of mystical power to carry out their macabre objectives. Protagonists who only think about sex and have their brains up their asses, favored by a bad story. Here, it doesn’t feel like that. Although the protagonist initially seems like a nerd—and he is, to some extent—I’d say he’s more normal and good-looking, and he’s not turned into a Gary Stu or some kind of Adonis. The game has a bit of grinding to improve qualitatively. He’s literally a virgin who knows very little about sex, which makes sense considering that in the ’80s porn was barely accessible in magazines; people also had to rely on other limited means like videocassettes, films in specialized theaters, or cable TV with restricted channels, so access was much harder than today. The protagonist has a large penis, which is somewhat unavoidable in a porn game, but I don’t think it’s as exaggerated as in some games where the protagonists are basically children with a penis bigger than their whole body. Many games, in terms of mechanics and story, fall behind to focus on more disturbing things and strange mixes of rape, NTR, incest, and others that happen without any sense. So, in my opinion, yes, the game is more “realistic.” For those who want to satisfy the MILF and incest fetish, MyS is definitely the best. It’s a fun game.

I didn't put a TON of thought into MC or his look. I view MC as kind of an everyday schlub who is mostly unremarkable, except when the pants come off. I view MC's penis as being almost a separate character that is just attached to him. It literally has its own name: "Goliath." When making Spank Bank scenes, Goliath is one of the co-stars of the scene along with the girl(s). MC then becomes an annoyance that I need to keep out of frame.

MC sort off stumbles and bumbles his way around the game world (because the player is guiding his actions) and he manages to Inspector Gadget his way into sexual situations, often with hot family members. As far as his look, I believe I was just trying to make a character that didn't much resemble the MC from Summertime Saga. The little hair spike is a nod to the MC from an old 2005-era Newgrounds Flash Game called Frank's Adventure.

Hey, what is still to be discovered or to "uncover"?
There are several optional things to do with Meredith that aren't required to get to the end of her story. For example:
1. On Saturday/Sunday morning, you can follow her up into the attic and she'll put on her wedding dress for MC.
2. You can complete a short quest to hop in the shower with Meredith for some thigh job fun.
3. On Saturday/Sunday morning, (if it's not snowing) you can see her lounging in the back yard and cum on her ass.
4. There is a Winter event in the game that fires if you play the game in the month of December OR you visit the arcade fortune teller and wish it were Christmas.

Stuff like that.

The Quest journal was designed as if stories were completely linear and therefore can't adequately guide you towards "things you might have missed" without some kind of redesign.

I've been waiting for the next update so long, my hair's gone gray :BootyTime:
Sorry about that. I'm wrapping up 0.6 and this update was challenged by rewrites. I'm confident in my ability to write dialogue, but writing story beats not as much. I've changed a lot of things mid-development due to subscriber feedback.

This game is pretty great LOL
That's right. This game needs to be approved by the FDA as a treatment for impotence.
Aw Shucks, you guys!
