I'll look into it after 0.6 is finally posted (again Very Soon(tm)).Understandable. I only brought up Jastusa because another artist/game developer by the name of Boxman had a similar problem with his game The Aristocrats. He has something very similar going on with his game there and was able to get it preserved over on Jastusa as have others since then. House Chores is another that comes to mind that got gutted harder than most. But one other game that had also made it over there was Taffy Tales: Redux who had strong family values as a minor focus. Though a handful of games did get pass the purge like with Homecoming: Tales of Debauchery and some of the other stuff that got ignored.
There's always a brief period after an update is posted where the actual game project is frozen while I await bug reports and determine whether I need to issue a hotfix. As projects get larger, the more likely bugs will slip through testing.
I'll thoughtfully assess my monetization strategy, such that it is. Ultimately, I'm pretty sure I need to start redesigning parts of the game under the hood so I can flip a "kill switch" to sanitize the "strong family values" in case of emergency.
P.S., House Chores is one of those games I've seen on Itch.IO a lot and although I've never played it, the artwork looks gorgeous. I can't speak to the gameplay, but it doesn't deserve to be gutted like you say.
Cheers!
