The Renpy version has an integrated hint system now. You just have to hover over a character's profile pic in the top right, and it'll guide you on what to do next.anyone have full walkthrough
Is renpy version completed ?The Renpy version has an integrated hint system now. You just have to hover over a character's profile pic in the top right, and it'll guide you on what to do next.
Yes, it is complete...Renpy version is much better then the Unity version, but not completely without bugs.Is renpy version completed ?
I totally agreeI started this because it seems New Coral City starts off after this one instead of just being remade in Ren'py, took a little bit to remind me that I tried this before and it wasn't so good.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm pretty sure it's a bug, either mindlessly copied from the original Unity version, or mindlessly created by myself. Your solution works, but I think the better fix is to replace line 16286 [ if rebeccacum > 0: ] with [ if orgasmcount == 0: ]. I'll update the Ren'Py script when I get a chance.First of Thanks to HoneyGames for a fantastic game and then thanks to NightTrain for a Marvelous Renpy version.
I will write a proper review an thoughts once I completed the game.
I just want to point out a possible bugin the script.
If you can just look if I'm reading the code right or missing something or if it is actually a bug.
And if it is a bug, what the actual values should be.

Yes, the ren'py version contains all the same content as the original.Hello there i played the original game 30mins or so, i didn't enjoyed it at all so i'm switching to the ren'py version but i have a question, is the ren'py version at the same version of the original game ?
To open up the night club you have to take pictures of Rebecca for the Elita magazine. Before you can do that you have to talk to Adele on the promenade at 10am on weekdays. Before then you have to complete the Vernissage event at the museum, by going to the museum at 4pm, where you'll first meet Adele.help i cant seem to progress. I am playing the renpy version. I cant seem to trigger the night club event. I had did everything besides that. I also finished the spying rebecca one, not sure how to trigger how to get mark to take a picture of MC with Rebecca at beach bar though. Is there something i can do ?
A little late, but I've updated the hints.txt file in the Ren'Py version that fixes this bug.I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.
I also picked up a couple of issues in the Hints.txt File.A little late, but I've updated the hints.txt file in the Ren'Py version that fixes this bug.
You're welcome. I only ported the game so that I could play the game myself and just couldn't get very far in the Unity version without having a clue what to do next and getting caught by bugs. It's good to hear that other people are making use of it too.I also picked up a couple of issues in the Hints.txt File.
One I think had to do with a KirstenIreneEvent that was spelled incorrectly. One was I think on one of the Kirsten Events was an extra colon ( : ) that caused it to give an error when hovering over hints. I fixed both these in my hints.txt
Unfortunately I did not log the issues, so I can not give precise info.
Then the very last that I part of the game, did not show any hints. I had to use your hint file directly to get the hints.
I think that was on the KirstenIreneEvent
Maybe you caught them all and fixed it in the latest Hints.txt file.
I don't know if you would be interested, but If you want, I can replay the game at some stage and check if all the hints works correctly now, as well as maybe suggestions on additional hints.
There were a couple of times in the game, where there were virtually no hints available.
In Any case, Thank you very much for the Renpy port. As much as I loved this game, I do not hink I would have finished this game without the Renpy version.
I'm now a big fan of Honeygames, and I think I would not have persisted with the Unity game and discovered his other games if not for this Renpy port. HoneyGames also acknowledge you as the reason why he switched to Renpy.
Love your work. Thank you!!
Some kind soul already did "King of the beach"...Very enjoyable...You play that game as Mark. Very cool females in that one including Astrid. Forgot her name now, but waitress on the beach were the best. You're welcome. In the latest patch I've put in some exception handling so if there are problems with the hints.txt file it doesn't cause the game to halt. Unfortunately this will mean I'll get less feedback about errors. I've also fixed a few more errors in the hints.txt file, including one that prevented many of Kristen's hints from showing up.
If you do play the game and can suggest some places where more hints would be helpful, please let me know. And sometimes the hints are too vague to be useful (at least, they make perfect sense when you already know what to do, and no sense when you don't, which kind of defeats the purpose).
Maybe someday I'll find the time to port some of HoneyGames older games...
