I gave it a try, and I think it's pretty good. First impressions are important, and there is something pretty good here. It's long enough to give you a good start on the main character's life situation. My attention was caught right away. I'm comfortable saying most people don't need 2000 renders and 10000 lines of dialogue to get into a story. I'm also comfortable saying some people purposely degrade a NEW game to squash its continuation for reasons only they know.
The game's overall look is unique in that it is of a higher quality than most here; therefore, it might seem negative to some, but in reality, their fast food type of understanding of art is holding back their knowledge of better, more nuanced art.
Yes, the shine could be toned down in certain shots, but it's far from "immersion breaking." Remember "New game."
My guess is that many here are not familiar with the world in general; not everyone looks the same, and not everyone considers what is masculine to be the same.
If given the chance to grow, this game will be popular. It is not hard to sell to members who think beyond their biases.
