Current Demo for the New Engine FOBS has 13 Girls most of which are remakes of the older ones. The Monkey Girl and Kapa can be fought currently the rest are static akin to the gallery but they do damage
Mega Link for the Demo
(Linux user here) I tried running this new version of the game on virtualbox using a Win10 VM. With 3D graphics off it doesn't work and with 3D graphics on I have mirrored/reversed graphics that are weird. I did not manage to run games like that with Lutris/Wine yet, though Unity games run well for me with Lutris i.e wine.
I did a bit of research, and I believe the game's engine is called cocos2d-x. This should be open source, cross-platforms and work on Linux, with a bit more knowledge or help. So there must be solutions for both Linux and Mac users here. I do not know them yet.
Do you have tips for setting up wine properly to run it, or to create a .sh file to execute the game instead of the .exe? Thank you
Edit: I somehow managed to make it work with Lutris, using Glorious Eggroll's version of Wine. What I did:
- Add the latest wine-ge-custom from GE's Github, to the lutris/runners/wine directory(the github page explains how to "install manually" that)
- I copied some random pfx folder from a working steam game using Proton, located in "steam library/steamapps/compatdata/XXXXXX(the number that corresponds to the game you want)/pfx" and copied that pfx directory somewhere else
- (In Lutris) Add a new game manually.
- in "game options" tab, Link the executable to your game's .exe, then
- link Wine Prefix to the pfx folder's copy
- In Runner Options, select the lutris-fshack-X.XX-x86_64 option, which is the GE thing you installed earlier
- click "save"
- Lunch game
And it worked for me. Hopefully that helps someone.
