What are some of your guys' favorite system prompts or rules you like to use to make the AI behave better?
Posted earlier, I have gotten a lot of use out of the simple change:
Under:
Settings > System Prompts > Choices Prompt
My paragraph is slightly altered to read:
"Generate 2-3 possible actions for the player that make sense given their current stats and location. Generate 2-3 possible actions that the characters present in the scene that are *not* the player might take, given current stats and location. At least 1 choice should escalate the lewdness of the current situation. Write the choices in a line-separated list in plaintext, no sub-choices or sub-bulletpoints! Active voice, no need to write explainations of the choices."
...
I still often type in my own prompts, but this helps some when the model gets stuck in a loop of similar player activities and responses. Plus there's a lot of game and story choices that simply won't manifest if all the agency is on the player's part, and none is on the other characters' parts. This might particularly make sense or a greater difference when the player character is more submissive (in role, not necessarily attitude), since the model will often offer more unique obstacles and trials if it thinks about things outside strictly the player's perspective and actions.
Anyway, long story short, I find the prompts to be more creative overall when the model is forced to evaluate everyone in the scene, not just the player.
...
Also using the "Notes" system has helped the game a lot. I don't use it for every detail of course but it's a big help in having the model not totally lose the thread of what's happening etc.
