I will probably never understand the people on this board who complain about slow or delayed updates while simultaneously not supporting the respective developer— you can play a great game (so far) for free, why are you complaining?

Should I seek psychological help if the Jinora scenes made me cum buckets like no other scene on any of the books ever did? Lol.

I've been playing this game through the years, this was my first time playing through book 4 and Jinora surprisingly became one of it's stronger point for me out of the blue
Maybe you just discovered you like the idea of being dominated cause :sneaky:.....i mean she kinda literally has her way with you by tying you up, drugging and raping you which is fucked up but pretty hot and yes buckets where filled.

For me, the worst thing about the game is the minigames, I think they do not add anything, they are boring, and sometimes they hinder the progress of the story, example:

In book 2 you need to defeat Iroh to get a porn magazine.
In book 3 you need to defeat Iroh 5 times in order to unlock a scene with Ty Lee.
In book 4 you need to defeat Zhu Li in a card game or lose 3 times to advance the story and you need to defeat everyone in the water tribe (countless times) to get all the "memories".
In book 4 (route of love) you need to make the inflatable doll minigame several times to get important items.

Besides It, I have nothing to complain about.

You're assuming that no one here is a patron or was a patron in the past, and the mindset of "you aren't allowed to say anything unless you're actively paying them" is stupid regardless

You don't have to pay money to have an opinion

My wild guess is that the overwhelming majority of people in this thread isn't pledging to Mity, ofc there are minoritary exceptions but they're insignificant, if wholly perceived— you can surely have a opinion on a topic, but it's nonetheless impertinent to pirate a game, and then impose requirements on the dev how and when he should release the game. At least that's my opinion and thus also insignificant as I'm not a patron anymore. :p

mini-games... well, some are fun, but being forced on you is not.
won't say they are what keeps the game a game, though. it is still a visual novel, so its value as a game is still the same, just with mini-games. Fate/Hollow Ataraxia has mini-games and is still a visual novel (they are also optional save for quizzes though).
This was my point. You might feel like the mini-games mean nothing. But it is not true.
- It is the only game part that FET has. Without it FET is basically a story with funny lines and porn.
- It is what basically makes you feel the interest to play the game. Many might disagree But think of it this way. Playing your favorite game by only watching cuts scenes from the game. What makes the game interesting is the part of playing it. So basically mini-games are necessary but gotta admit the minigames in this game is so annoying.

I don't agree with you, the game has a map, has a scene repetition system, has hidden scenes, has decisions, has puzzles and has missions.
Mini-games (from this game) are only for:

hinder the player's progress.

increase playing time.

And delay updates.

I hate the card and crab minigames.

But of course, this is just my opinion, not the absolute truth.

Bruhh how can it be that there are literally more than a thousand pages on this site dedicated to a porn game

If you're salty that the developers aren't making frequent updates then just go ahead and beat your meat to another game smh

as i said before: puzzles like in the halloween sidestory are way better and immersive then these stupid minigames and they also require less work but you still have some content left in the game besides dialogue and scenes.

It not even just that, many of the people don't even try and understand the stress they writer, modder artist and all go through. Making a story is tough, I'm trying write a novel, and writers block has really got me fucked.
People gotta understand, these guys ain't taking the money and running, they've been making the game for decent amount of time. They know the more they give us, more we give them.
Other game makers have done so much worse, by lying and taking money and then just vanishing .

I get that money can't make them work faster, and adding a new team members is not always the sensible decision, but I've heard the artist talk about using borderline dead hardware before; surely he could expense out some better equipment?

this is called a "visual novel". it is a very well-known thing in japan, and has become more and more popular outside it.
while there are some arguments about them being games or not, they definitelly do NOT need minigames to be interesting.

you may have heard of the Fate series, with many different anime series, movies and even a psp rpg - that later got a musou - and a very popular - and lucrative - gacha?
well, it started from a series of visual novels and light novels.

you may have also heard of phoenix wright ace attorney?

danganrompa?

zero escape?

Higurashi no naku koro ni / when they cry?

Umineko no naku koro ni / when seagulls cry?

and the list goes on and on. some of them have a few minigame-like parts, but they are actually the vast minority. the main focus is on telling the story.

I get that money can't make them work faster, and adding a new team members is not always the sensible decision, but I've heard the artist talk about using borderline dead hardware before; surely he could expense out some better equipment?
I think the idea there was "I tested the version with better graphics I am making here on this very old computer so I know even on the worst hardware I could get it did not cause much slowdown."

Please lets appreciate this for the diversity of human experience it is. Some people, such as myself, are actively pessimistic but love to be proven wrong. Nothing inherently wrong about that. Some people choose to be actively optimistic about the outcome, and I respect that too. The only thing I don't support is blind trust, because that goes on to ruin more important parts of life than a stupid porn game.

Do you need to start a new game to continue the love route in Book 4 or will it update automatically?

I was a patron for quite a while. I left Patreon for a number of reasons but I quite supporting MITY due to delays in the release schedule before that.

On the topic of mini-games: I don't mind the mini-games, but they should add something to the game instead of just being a road block or a brick wall to beat your head against for gold (why you wouldn't use cheats for money I have no idea). The Crab mini-game was pretty shit and I couldn't stand it. The fighting mini-games in book 1, 2, and 3 are fine IMO. The coin sorting game runs like shit but is otherwise fine. The probending mini-game is too easy once you just associate the words with the number on the keyboard, so it's pretty neutral however I'm glad we don't need to do it THAT often. Overall I'm glad there are mini-games as they make it not just a "click button, receive porn" style of interaction, but they also seem to not really add much fun.

There is an aspect to Fandom complaints that seems to get missed often. The fact that you don't pay and there for should not have any complaints ignores the fact that the game would not have the buzz and popularity with out said non paying fans. In the patreon world you may be successful collecting money for your work but in the wider world your game isn't going anywhere with out all the masses of non paying fans. For one thing free advertising will bring in the people who can afford to pay you for your work. Also your ability to pay has nothing to do with promoting good idea's and or making suggestions on how to improve their work. In a perfect world everyone would have enough money to survive and also pay for things they would like to support.

do you feel the need to seek "real jinoras"? do you feel anything when you see one in the street? if yes, then yes, seek help, as fast as possible, because that shit is not ok. if its only cartoon, then no, you have a thing for cartoony lolis, or maybe, because its diferent you enjoyed it more.

like i said, so long this is toward a fictional, clearly not real character, you are safe. but, at the first sign of this getting "too real", please do seek help. this is not a joke.

to me, the mini games should be there as a complement, not the main dish. and the combat was already good enough in the first book, all they needed to do was build upon it. instead, they kept reinventing the wheel, and it just became an exercise in futility, as it had no effect in any other book.

as a side note, since each book is a completely separate story, with not real(IE. gameplay) connection with one another, they could just released each as a separate game.

but, since they are all in one, i think they should keep things, and add, more stuff, like equips, and abilities that would transfer after each book. maybe, have specific abilities that are slave/love route only, nothing major, just 1 or 2, on each. something to entice players to want to replay the game to collect all abilities if they wanted to.

it is a game, its a porn game, sure, but there's no reason why it couldnt be fun to play along side being fun to fap to.
