3 questions in book 3 love rout: does toph ever do the handjob distraction option for the scams in the market, and for suki, she mentions that she wants to save money to buy off a guard to save the other kiyoshi(spelling?) warriors and offers to trade the tavern tips for a bj, does this quest go anywhere or is it just the bj option when u talk to her, finally do you ever completlly remove the brainwashing from any of the girls beside jin and joo dee?
bonus question in case anyone has answers: are there rewards i didn't notice for killing the lv99 crab in the arena or the big crab in sokka's den, i killed both but didn't see anything.

How do I get to the Statue Island?
I played Korra's and with how many are in the changelogs I suppose there is suppose to be more. I have already paid Lin and got the "JOB" and other stuff in the island, I cannot progress anymore from "I must visit the statue" thing.

The crab gets you a new pornlove based off that one bloodbender lady but during her younger days (thankfully)
There's no other kiyoshi warriors in book 3, it stops there after the blowjob, maybe MITY will go back in the future and do something with it, who knows
And as for Toph's handjobs, you need to have her exhibitionism up more, have her wear bikinis more, or raise the value for that, if you can find it. I never bothered with scams because I always just changed the value for my money

yeah sounds like a grift at this point, they could just easily release story build of it, it doesn't need anything extensive, hell, even the halloween build shows that.

It's december and they didn't even pause the patreon. getting sick is one thing, but development should be continued. the patreon gets almost 20.000$. You can ask people who are experts(or even hobbyist) at renpy and rewrite FET from scratch if they wanted to, I think they would gladly to do it for like 1/10++ of monthly patreon income.

I think what bothers me most about this is the lack of coding from the artist himself. I mean if any of you reading this has a nick for coding you can check ren'py engine. Its very simple to code a scene create dialogues and whatnot. If they are burnt out i can understand. People should take time off their jobs. But the thing is this game doesnt require lord mary hallelujah miracle type of algorithm and is very basic. It's written in python which makes it even easier for someone to start. So i dont understand why people have this notion in their mind that their code is somehow jambled and needs to be fixed.
If you wanted to be generous and take him at his word (which I think is fair), then he basically just never really thought about it during the last 3 years. The artist did the art, the coder did the code, everything chugged along fine. Now that they hit the first major hurdle, he DID think about finishing it up himself, but decided to be overly cautious and leave everything to the coder in order to not mess up his workflow or something. It makes sense as a decision from their perspective (i.e., it's not an outright scam) even though it's one I disagree with.

The guy's vision is basically "I'd rather delay the game for 4 months and stick to the original plan". Hence why he hasn't hired more people, or finished the update himself, or paused the Patreon, or changed anything. As for the code, people criticize FET's because it has the hallmarks of being amateurish, as if written by some random guy who just started coding (gee I wonder why). It's an issue if you're working on a project with other people (who also have to understand your code), or one that requires maintainability (if you need to change something, it's better to change one line than having to change 17 separate ones in files named "asfasfgsafas.py"), but strangely enough neither of those are actually relevant to FET, for reasons described a couple pages back.

In this case specifically, it IS somewhat warranted that the artist shouldn't be trying to implement the entire update himself, because it could lead to wasted time. The more complex parts of the game (minigames, map systems, etc) do actually take some effort beyond "if x == true then y else z" style VN code, and if he went ahead and duct taped something like that together for the next update, it would have to be either thrown out (zero time saved) or reworked (potentially MORE time being wasted rather than saved). Hence my suggestion of "just make the scenes", which you could then tie into the existing game with a single menu that appears at the end of the current content ("sorry guys but the coder is away this month, click here to view scene 1, click here to view scene 13") or release as its own thing like the halloween update. Which he seemingly doesn't want to do either, because it wouldn't be up to par with the "experience" people are used to (so making them wait 4 months is seen as a preferable alternative).

And once again, you can CRITICIZE something constructively, raise valid points or offer suggestions in good faith without being an entitled, foaming at the mouth armchair game dev who takes porn games seriously and needs shut the fuck up and go outside (because I can already see where this thread is going).

I agree with every point that you've made except the one in which you said "entitled"
Being entitled means the person believes they have the right to receive something. but in this case that doesn't apply because people actually paid a shit ton of money to the creator, therefore they have the right to complain. For example, a package you have ordered still hadn't arrived 4 months pass the delivery date, if you then write a letter of complaint, are you being "entitled"? My point is the people who paid for this project have the right to complain because by starting a pateron, you're essentially promising people content in exchange for their money, and if people start complaining about delays because of the creator's poor time and human resource management, the people shouldn't be the ones at fault, but instead, obviously, the creator. In addition, if justice warriors start blasting the paterons for complaining, I think they will start to pull the plug one by one out of frustration.

That was sarcasm, for the record. The point is that even if you're "getting" something for free, you're allowed to (and in fact SHOULD) point out the flaws you see in it, or offer your perspective on how you think the game could be made even better.

The "entitlement" issue in this case is a bit murky, because technically you ARE paying for a product the same way you would be if you were clicking on microtransactions that unlock content faster in a videogame (even though both are trivial to pirate). Even with a Patreon that functions as a donation box with no gated/exclusive content, there's still the implicit assumption that you're raising funds for somebody to work on a specific project, not just paying their bills. And people losing their own money isn't even really the problem (since they could just unsubscribe at the earliest opportunity), it's more the moral question of "is somebody in the right if they leave a Patreon up but produce no content", or "is somebody in the right if they decide to keep the budget for themselves instead of trying to invest it back". To which people will usually just respond that it's not outright ILLEGAL, or that the invisible hand of the free market can do no wrong, missing the point completely.

Mayhap, but here's a quick question: how many of the people complaining in here actually paid for any of it?
I personally have back in the day (when they were at like ~5k a month), but I stopped after that. IMO MITY making 10, 20, or 50k at this point makes no difference, the project won't go any faster/larger. I might as well give my money to indie artists with 20 subscribers, or projects that benefit from it. Same reason I don't pay for Summertime Saga or Milfy City, or AAA videogames and movies that sold a billion copies.

Here's a fun question though, are you allowed to criticize the plot of The Last Jedi if you don't own the Blu-ray?
