Makes for maximum degeneracy and mental anguish, which is perfect for the slave route. If you're not familar with the show, Korra has known Tenzin essentially her entire life. She first met him when she was a small child. She looks up to and respects him. To then have him suddenly have this different personality, treat her like shit, and abuse her and basically call her just fuckmeat material. Add to that Korra's sheltered life to this point, it really is perfect for breaking her spirit.

For the love route Tenzin won't work at all, I'll grant. But I can't think of a better choice for the Slave route.

Eh, Slave route could have one of the villains, though only one of them was an airbender and he's not really more fitting.
Some random equalist, maybe?

I'd prefer a stranger for exactly the same reasons you like Tenzin.
Not to kinkshame or anything, but i'm not really into the whole 'molested by your uncle' theme.
That said, maybe the slave-route just isn't for me, this time around.
No great loss. There's always Bend Or Break, by S7.

Don't forget that the "story" has you, a future avatar, learning to air bend too. The justification for you being Tenzin is that you will learn air bending along with Korra, while posing as her teacher. Making you a rando or Amon wouldn't give you the opportunity to learn like this unless you're some nobody OC air nomad in training sorta like with the book 2 slave route. Now, I get that almost no one cares about the overall story and they're just in it for the porn, but I think it was the right decision.

All that being said, I like the MC being Tenzin. The whole teacher/student thing in the slave route is pretty good, and Pema being a cock hungry slut that seems fine with you dealing with bitchy Korra just pushes it over the top for me. Oh, and even the stuff we have so far with Jinora is great, IMO.

Pema's existence is THE one and only reason you need to have Tenzin as the MC. I could see them doing a random generic airbender student for the love route though, sort of like a reverse Book 2. It would place you on an equal footing with Korra, and give them an opportunity to reuse the same characters (Pema, Asami, etc) from a different vantage point.

In what way is Tarrlok not also an uncle in Korra's life? At least up to the point that he turns heel.

It's officially the 25th for most of the world, so merry/happy xmas if that's your jam! I hope your holidays are filled with eggnog and as little Wham! as possible. But more importantly, we have great news! We have a hard release date set for this upcoming build: in three days (the 28th) we will release the latest build to everyone! Due to the delay, and as a little Christmas bonus, we'll send it to every patron simultaneously! For our bughunters, we have a special something planned for you a little afterward.

Hopefully it'll all be relatively bug-free and won't catch on fire upon release, but all I can really say is that I like it and I think/hope you will too. Everything feels back on track. Good energy and high spirits.

In the spirit of ominous positivity, you're gonna get what you fucking deserve, which is me trying my absolute best to reward you for your patience and support with quality and reliability.

Korra is a bit too muscular for me in BoB2, and Azula just looks like a recycled Something Unlimited body.
SR7 is talented, but BoB2 seems both lazy and going for a fetish I'm not a fan of (hyper muscle chicks)

No, but to be fair it's really early.
You're a "mind" bender, and can completely control people if you want.
But instead you meet Korra and just bend her mind to stop her from being able to bend.
Then you go to to her house, and after a 2 minute conversation convince her to swear to be your servant and let you live with her in exchange for bending lessons?
It just plays out like really boring SU Cell content.

And while I'm a fan of mind control, you're not even doing that, just really, really tedious "training".
