Fenoxo I'm pretty sure has at least 6 different people writing for him, and TiTS lets you select between character sprites drawn by 4-5 different artists (though that's more of a "pick your style" kinda deal).
I would still argue that hiring a person who can match the same visual style as ATLA and the meme-y humor of the writing would be important in this case, though it's far from a one-in-a-million shot of finding somebody. You'd also start with the basics by hiring a different guy just to paint backgrounds for instance, or having a new writer do a test run segment and see how the fans react to it (or indeed, if they notice at all).
Keep trying against Zhu Li, Senna, and Katara. You'll eventually beat them and they'll give you some stronger cards. Keep selecting your strongest card and if you win, but have a smaller card that will still win, roll back to before your selection and select the lower card. If no card you have lets you win, select the lowest (via rolling back to see the future). This keeps your smaller cards from showing up again, but also keeps you from wasting larger cards on no-win rounds. At least that's what I did and it seemed to work okay.
Honestly the card game is not very good, it's essentially "luck of the draw" sort of game. You can just view all the images from the FET folder: game > bk4_xtra. It's a bunch of old sketches and unused art from previous updates. I'm glad it's not required for anything other than getting these little art bits; the current implantation is garbage and it's bugged if you somehow tie 4 cards in a row since you don't draw again if you tie like that, and the game doesn't know what to do with a tie in this instance (the statistical possibilities for this are pretty staggering if you think about it).

To summarize what t4ewk said above, this should be your thought process:
1) Pick a card, any card
2) See what they play, calculate their total
3) Roll it back (use mousewheel to go backwards)
4) If you can beat them, beat them with the lowest card possible
5) If nothing in your hand can beat them, throw away your lowest card and lose that round
6) ???
7) Profit
Also as t4ewk said, this implementation is buggy af, more or less devoid of significant strategy, time consuming, and not particularly rewarding to win. Considering there are 60 cards, I decided to just look at the images.

I did it with the console but yeah not worth it.
Art supplies in the shop then go to the house and use the desk.
Think my game is bugged he gave me the art supplies but when i go to the house theres no option for desk only album
Korra ran away. I am supposed to talk with people but the door to esna&desna isn't open. Everywhere else is just playing siege... anyone figured something yet?

sent that error to mity last night, they are aware. you can ignore the error and continue. same thing with the Asian in the next scene. theres probably about 15 lines of error on her alone so you have to ignore them all. it will register you talked to her and can continue with the story. Just no scene of conv.

can any kind person pass me a savegame near the end of 0.8.3? I formatted my computer and lost my saves
It really doesn't take that long to speed to the new content. Just hold down CTRL to skip the dialogue, don't cheat in money until after the first coin game, and make sure you train on the spinners. If you really want that part to move faster just download an auto clicker and just spam the spinners until you're max level. It takes 15 minutes to get from a new save in book 4 to the new content.
