The artist who does the side Halloween games by himself to make sure content comes out.
The artist who's art is already done and just waiting on the coder to finish compiling everything.
If they wanted to justify a delay, they'd say it was the Coder's dog, but it's the artist.

Is this some sort of joke? About the dog. I mean, its so cliche...
But if its true then poor doggo and poor doggo owner.

People have pets, and pets die. I'd think it was maybe bullshit if it was the coder, but the artist has no reason to lie, and is usually on the level. Plus the art is done, what advantage would lying about this even give? I think it's legitimate.

It shouldn't really. Artist said last week he'd send everything to the Coder and it's waiting on him.
So we're still waiting on the Coder now, the dead dog was mentioned when the artist dropped his art asset update.

I doubt it's a ploy to get more time (or even sympathy) to be fair, I just posted it because of how hilariously stereotypical it looks. I wouldn't be too cynical about it, it's a regular blog post on the artist's part.

The artist who should realise, that if the coder is burning out and dealing with so much that's causing constant delays, that maybe they need another coder. Ever since that huge 4 month gap of nothing we've just been getting constant updates filled with excuses as to why the next build isn't out as the content slowly decreases in quality and quantity. People are going to get sick of it and then soon they'll grow jaded and assume that it's the usual bullshit. They promised last week they'd have a build out earlier this week and now that it's reaching the end of the week suddenly out of left field the artist's dog dies. They probably realise if they had said it was the coder's dog people would instantly call bullshit. Why is it that the artist, who always has their work done early and even has assets ready for the next build, constantly puts up with the delays from the coder. People have seen the easy fix and been telling MITY for well over a year now that they should bring in another coder to help with releases but it's never happened. They only have themselves to blame for the shift in everyone's opinions of them. Delivering a sub-par product and delivering it late on top of that? Honestly it's a spit in the face.

So I got back from the trip to the South pole in book four (didnt completely the card campaign if it matters). Got the prisoner the porn mag from the captains desk, screwed the captain, had her tell me to check the park, got bribed by the thots, and now im completely stuck. The police captain doesnt update anything, Tenzin tells Korra he doesnt feel like training, and theres nothing to do anywhere else. Did my game glitch or am i missing something?

Same here, had to deliver somethin for shady to the dumbster and there was a ghost lady, also had the treehouse scene with jinora, the bj from zhuli and found a trash poster in the dumbster. is there anything left or is that all there is atm?

And the coder can't really do much without the artist can he? What's your point here? Are you going to defend them and tell us that they really don't need another coder? If the coder is constantly running into "problems" whether personal or with implementing something new surely they should realise "huh I need some help, we make fucking thousands from this patreon so how about we use a little to pay another guy to lend me a hand?". No, instead we have the artist posting constantly about how he forced the coder into a break because "he was burning himself out since he just doesn't know when to quit with his work!!!!", but that doesn't show in the product that releases. Call me entitled, call me ungrateful, I really don't care. It annoys me when I see people constantly spewing out bs in the hopes people will lap it up and then you have people defending it for whatever reason. They have a responsibility, and yet they still collect the checks when they go through all these "problems" and skip release dates and we're all left with nothing but disappointment and a big fuck you. I was there when they dropped the first build in a /stg/ thread and brazenly claimed they would be updating monthly, and for a while they did and people were shocked, they were consistent and the quality of the game was great. But now we're lucky if we even get an art asset post that isn't a thin veil used to cover whatever bullshit excuse they picked out of a hat for that month.

Yes that's exactly my problem with them. I was supporting them back when Book 1 came out and stopped after book 3 but still paid them like a full price AAA game in total. So this whole situation with 4 months delay really opened me eyes. When people paid them in advance hoping to get an update and when there was no freaking update they didn't return money for that month with 0 content(or at least stopped collecting money for a 'vacation' period) they simply came up with this whole 'oh he was trying so hard and didn't want to stop so I forced him(how if he has 'no power over him'?lol) to take vacation. And now this delay again... well I'm just glad I'm not a patron anymore )
