I always did prefer the Love Routes to the Slave Routes tbh, but perhaps that's due to personal preference. Just found them more enjoyable and well written, especially Book 2 and 3.

But I decided to go to book 2 anyway, I was starting to get bored of repeating the same actions

For book 1, 40% of quest progress is measured in talking to characters, 50% depends on killing mooselions, and 10% is begging Katara to talk to you again by delivering even more fresh mooselion carcasses to her doorstep like an overconfident housecat when she's mad.

It is a good choice. In book 2 FET started to shine. My own recommendation is the love route, I think it's far better than the slave's, but there are other that disagree.
Wheres begging the village heads to give Katara authority? Also theres waiting for events to finish that each take 3 or 4 days. And she only gets mad at you if you piss her off by the way (though angry Katara is hot). I think the only hard part is killing the moose lion for the suit, Im pretty sure that fight is harder than earlier fights and its very unlikely to win without 2 potions or lots of save scumming.
Edit Slave does have the only tentacle scene in the game so theres that. Theres also Ty Lees scenes that are amazing. Bk2 love does have more content but most of it is incest. I dont think thats everyones cup of tea.

For me the type of content is more relevant than the girl/s identity. MC fucking Azula in the ass as get off on her humiliation is the hottest scene in FET for me. Pity it did not end with peeing into her mouth as she mumbles that she's a whore.

I'm glad I've always seen the MC as me and not as the persons who's physical bodies we use. I mean Aang is probably the same age as Toph, Zuko lusts for his sister and we play in Tenzin's body in Book 4 slave route. The last part did piss off a lot of folks but I'm glad I can ignore those things. Makes the game way more enjoyable. (Though the incest part probably is a big turn on for quite some people looking at popular porn tags.)

There is Ty Lee in love but.. its like 2 small scenes, one is the bottle spinning game and you get to choose who gets the bottle up their bottom. The other is you get to see her naked while shes asleep and she was lets say.. having fun the night before. In slave she drinks pee, upskirt/ lifts skirt, blowjob and she has a gymnasts body for the scenes. Flexible sex is hot for me anyway.
Bk2 love is great, especially Mais route. But bk2 slave deserves credit for what it does have going on too.
Azula does think you are her brother, during bk2 love route MC also thinks hes Zuko for most of it too. Its the only route where MC has actual memory problems to sell the incest better. Now we know its not Zuko.. but I mean thats still his child if you knock her up. Actually the mind children thing gets weird because Im pretty sure children made while MC was possessing them end up to be perverts. Or maybe thats just because every character in this game is a pervert, its hard to tell.
Edit Also all the characters are aged up from what age they would be in the show. Toph is just small, I looked up Toph in the manga as shes still the same height when shes like 17. Even some adult women are short irl to you know.

added perk, imagine their face when you leave their bodies and they're faced by whatever consequences you left them to, or they somehow (maybe the snake..? hrhrhr) get flashbacks into the time you've been screwing around using their bodies.

Bk1 is the only one where the routes are basically the same. In bk1 the only difference is rougher dialogue, a slap scene and 1 or 2 other scene differences. I think the blowjob scene changes significantly, I forget. I would fully recommend playing both routes in bk2, 3 and 4 (especially 4). Bk4s routes are like entirely different books, its really well done.
Edit Actually yeah you leave in 2 out of 4 of th endings deep inside Zukos sister. I like to imagine he was looking at the infinite online lewd sites MC must have had tabs of open on his computer when Zuko swaps back at that moment. (I forget if morality adds ending differences in love route so may be more)
