Well, never say never, but for now I hadn’t planned on it. Mainly because I don’t know how it works. The building of Android Ports are different from PC, Linux and Mac ports in Ren’Py.

Do you get to enslave Katara? The Slave Route from book 1 of the original was pretty...tame. It was more of a light bondage route.

A very interesting thread. I also feel like Zuko could've been given more on his route. Hell, if MITY decided to recreate the game but entirely written from Zuko's perspective I would be pretty happy. Anyways, I'm also an artist and I read that we might be needed to create new scenes for this mod exclusively? I don't have any Avatar-related artworks to show for it atm, but I'm decently skilled at copying art styles. Just leaving a sample or two, if y'all don't mind.

If your choice is to go with the Slave Route, then absolutely yes. Your choice of Love or Slave Route will completely change how the game goes, from Zuko’s attitude and decisions to entire storylines.
I agree that the original Book 1 had a lot of potential not utilized, and was rather tame (especially compared to other Slave Routes), but I intend to amend that here. For instance, starting completely over from scratch gives me much more freedom to do what I want, while still keeping in mind the source material (ATLA and LOK) and Four Elements Trainer itself for inspiration.
I won’t pretend my idea isn’t super ambitious, and won’t take a loooot of effort, because it is and it will. XD But with you all supporting the project, hey. I think we can figure out what’ll make this mod something truly great.

To give an idea of where I currently am, I’m on Book 1 (of course), which is based on the Water Tribe like base FET and even where the actual series began. I decided to write the Slave Route first, so Love will have to come after.

When I play, it says love route is the only option without game over. I'm confused, how do I choose the slave route?

The links currently listed are outdated and don’t reflect on my current plans. Originally, I was using older existing scripts as a guide and wrote the Love Route first. Hence why I hadn’t included the Slave Route at the time.
As of now, I’m totally revamping the idea and am writing everything from the beginning, with a totally new concept. Sorry for the confusion about that… I updated the OP and labeled the current links as outdated so no one else gets the wrong idea.

Its been some time but i dont have much. I cannot grasp how to draw decently on a bigger scale than redrawing the same thing over and over again until it looks ok im my eyes. I still have some changes to Ursa (i hope final lol) and i played with the idea of diffrent zuko hair. And its meh to me but could work for now i guess .(I still need to overlay other faces on them).

Love the Ursa improvements! Not to mention the different hairstyles for Zuko. That’s exactly how I envisioned it. Sure, some tweaks can be made in the future, but as a starter this’ll work really well for what I’m going for!
Ponytail Zuko for Book 1, short haired Zuko for Book 2 in the Earth Kingdom, and the default Zuko look for Book 3 in the Fire Nation. It shows a visual evolution and I just love details like that… hence why I really wanted some different looks.
For sure, if you feel like tackling some Iroh sprites that fit more with his ATLA Book 1 look, I say go for it!

I'll try and get to my own sprite plans eventually but right now I have to deal with my homeless situation I mentioned before. I gotta leave the garage I've been staying in by November 4. We have a place we applied to. They then removed the listing for the place we applied to from their page but never called back. We're hoping they're planning to accept us and are just going through the process of looking over what we sent them before finalizing and didn't just accept someone else.
That said, right now my main focus is getting the last 2 commissions I have in the work side of what I do before I have to pack up.

Hey, man. That’s totally fine. No rush at all. Priorities come first! It’s not like I’m blitzing through writing the game anyways. I’m taking my time to make sure it’s as good as it can be for a first build.
