10000% this. So many games have art that just ruins the game for me (most human stuff or going for that "realistic" style), or makes the MC look one way I don't like, but if you don't do that at all, I can imagine whatever I want.

You know, one thing I haven't seen that I expected more of is (semi-)clean sketches in text games. It's a compromise between a full, expensive rendition and nothing.

There's still the gamble of adding art to a text game where people like me are totally fine w/o art, and the art can detract from the text if people don't like it. YMMV, but some people aren't able to do art (myself included) and therefore they would have to pay for it. Even sketches can still be expensive depending on what you want it to be.

I'm just not a fan. I'm not bi and I don't like the effeminate stuff. I also don't like vaginas (even on boys). I'm also really turned off by gay guys who are very flamboyant and talk like "a stereotypical gay guy". I don't like drag/crossdressing, etc.

Yeah, re: Artwork, I'm keen to add more to the game. There'll be toggles/specific settings for it, though, since I think it's a pretty even split between people who enjoy artwork in text-games and people who prefer to use their imagination.

Having more options for stuff like that is always a win imo.

And IMO the writing on sex scenes are a bit lacking.

I'm terrible at writing myself so can't give any specific suggestion. But here's the problem:
In this game, during sex Scenes, it's only "Things happened", no descriptive writing on "How it happens", lacking detailed text to paint the scenes livid.
Hence, nothing stands out that's unique - It totally depends on the imagination of the reader, which will be exactly the "same old stuff" as they do for every other game.

It gets the job done, but nothing above average.

BTW, good decision on the art toggle. it's always a good idea to offer more options, as long as it doesn't dilute the contents.

Is it specifically stated MC is a Femboy? As far as I can tell MC is just a timid, submissive, small fox.

It's not like he's intentionally femme or femboy (FOXXX Dev, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here?), but his proportions are mentioned time and time again. He *looks* small and girlish. Many NPCs have commented on how he looks and even outright confuse him for a female, which to me boils down to an easy "femboy" label.

Yes, I know he's not intentionally femboy, but being small/girlish also rolls against my tastes of "I like *men*" kind of characters. It's why most of the stuff in the game I like are the NPCs that do things to the MC moreso than the MC doing anything (it's also why I posted on one of the latest updates to get a bug fixed with the bartender cumming in your drink over and over because one of my favorite scenes got bugged and inaccessible for like 10+ versions).

But again, with text I can briefly glance over and no images to force me to see these things happening to a "small femboy fox", I can instead imagine whatever the hell I want. Instead of "femme-looking", I can make him more "small, submissive, and breedable" in my mind. My whole point is I like that I'm not forced to see femme/femboy characters, regardless of how you actually want to label our little fox boy.

The Dev does a nice job of not explicitly painting the picture in one way or another, so it can swing both ways.

Tho I'm also curious, FOXXXDev is it intentionally made vague, so you can decipher either way?
Or the intention is indeed to create a Femboy Fox MC? Then you should make your picture toggle opt-in, not opt-out.

The MC is very much designed in the "weak lil boy" trope. This is super common with male protagonists against an ocean of monster girls and femdoms. Heelfall, Rape Reincarnation, Under the Witch, Happy Hearts Hell & Panic, SHRIFT, Perfect Home, literally every game titled "succubus" with a male protagonist and I'm pretty sure weak boys are at least a 1/3 of the porn text game genre.

It doesn't matter whether you claim they are 'adults'. If they look like kids, act like kids, and it's sexual, then it's Pedo.
Twink is something totally different.
The games you listed are either Femboy, or straight up Pedo (except Perfect Home) - surprise, Pedo is very popular among Japanese games in the forms of Loli and Shota.
