I'm aware that the nursery is still an experimental feature, but just curious, is there a bug that make the kid there suddenly grow up into adulthood? because i'm pretty sure last time i see, the baby was barely 1 years old but the next thing i know she's 18 and ready to go out now..?
I've double checked, it is the nursery, i think it has something to do with the matron/nanny setting to.. fix flaws? the moment my "mentally liberated" baby got that flaw fixed she grow up instantly, which would be hilarious.. but i have disabled that feature for now since it's broken anyway

I'm fairly sure the AI pack is the only one being worked on, unfortunately.

AI is the only one in active development. Deepmurk is accepting contributions but no one has tried lately to my knowledge. WebGL is closed. All others are some form of outdated so they need tech work and art work.

Unfortunately, the AI images are the only ones that are actively maintained.
If you cannot use them because of the many external dependencies (and potential security issues related to running untrusted code instead of running safely in a browser), then using the WebGL image pack would be the best second choice. But the WebGL art has not seen any significant updates since March 2023. The other image packs are lagging even more behind and have not had any significant updates since 2020-2021.
It's a pity that the WebGL development has stalled, because until 2023 that was the most up-to-date image pack, without external dependencies. Also, even today it still provides more consistent results than the AI images: changing the hair color does not change the hair style and vice-versa, facial features remain exactly the same when you change the hair or clothes, siblings are easier to recognize, changes in the trust or devotion influence the pose of all slaves in the same way without interfering with their clothes or faces, etc. The AI images give much nicer results and can go from photorealistic to anime-style images, which cannot be done with WebGL. But for a game such as this one, I prefer the images to be consistent and predictable rather than looking nice.

It takes time for the coverage from outside sources to increase; amount of funding accelerates the speed, and maybe the cap. Even if you don't give a subsidy, part of it will still be covered by outside sources as well. Probably depends on your Arcology's Prosperity and Trade levels as well?
You can have all sexual services completely covered by outside sources (100% coverage), even exceeding the demand from that social class (usually Low and Middle). Note that if you go this path, it can easily cost you up to 5mil per week to keep the subsidies up at max while keeping 100% sexual satisfaction across all classes with a Citizen Population of about 15,000. This makes it pretty much impossible to pursue this path, unless...
Though it was moved to Experimental Options, there is also the Farmyard. A single good famous sexual master of a slave doing beastiality shows can generate money far beyond what a Brothel or Weapon Factory can ever provide to you; the highest I've heard/read about is something like 3.9mil per week on an extremely prestigious porn star slave. If beastiality isn't your thing, you could also turn on the Food Supply and Demand experimental feature - a fully upgraded Farmyard (that is, one with 2,500 Menials) will generate about 7-8mil worth of food per week. You don't even need any slave in the Farmyard, or a Farmer (leadership position) there at all; the Menials will just print money for you.
But well, whether you go with the Farmyard is up to you - personally I like the Farmyard 'printing money' because I don't like having to send slaves to whore, let alone do public service, so I make use of its income to fully subsidise the sexual needs of the Arcology. There have been people calling for Farmyard income to be nerfed or outright removed, not even an Experimental feature, until it is 'balanced' against Brothel income. Those people firmly believe that given the premise of Free Cities, the main income of a Free City should always be from whoring, with some of them even calling for nerfs to Dairy income, due to the unlimited scaling you can get from it compared to whoring, and Weapon Factory income (the Weapon Factory argument being that the Menials there, while not making as much as Farmyard, still 'prints money' far more than simply owning Menials, and that Menials should be treated as goods in a 'material stock market').
Best way to make money while avoiding prostitution? NTR and Sharing aren't my kinks. Thanks.
Train and sell your slaves? Even forgoing training whoring and entertainment in the Brothel and Club they should net a decent amount of cash.
I'm not sure there are many ways to make significant money without whoring out your slaves. Menial slavery works, but their returns are small. Keeping them as housekeepers doesn't even pay for their own upkeep, I think, or at most barely. Dairy might work, but it takes a while to get your slaves to lactate significant amount of milk.
Besides, I think your population gets upset if you don't provide enough opportunities for sexual relief. A few pages back someone wanted to test if expanding certain branches of your corporation helps, but I don't think they reported back. Subsidies at least are confirmed not to help entirely to cover all sexual needs.
It's a single player porn game, even if it has "achievement unlocked" mechanics i have never heard any sane functioning adult who would want to share their porn game achievements to their timeline.
So just create yourself an easy cover story like being reborn as an OP isekai mc protagonist with cheat money skill and focus your gameplay on what really matters: fucking and breeding and making that beautifully confusing family
I dunno about 'best' way, but there are options.
- Corporation. After a while you get the option to start a corporation and build it up. You can set it to pay a percentage of the net income and/or everything in liquid assets above a certain amount. Just start with (il)legal enslavement and work your way up.
- Weapons Manufacture. You can change a manufacture sector to make weapons, uses menial slaves.
- Milking. Girls become cows and their milk is sold for profit. Selling cow pregnancies is very much optional if you don't want it.
- Farming. Have to turn it on in the mod settings. No sex needed, the food grown is kept until storage is full, then sold for profit. Even uses menial workers, though it's far more profitable with a trained Farmer and some Farmhands.
- Arena. Not very profitable, at best 10k a week for non-lethal fights, but it's money. Takes some effort from you every week to arrange fights, though.
- AI buy/sell menials. Eventually your AI assistant can work the slave market to try to make some money, but only really works if the price is fluctuating steadily.
- Buy/sell slaves you aren't keeping. As another said, buy cheap slave, train them up, maybe do some medical work, sell them off. Would be a bit of a learning curve, though.
And that's what I can recall. Theres a few other possible items, like the prosthetic lab using research scientists, but I'm not sure they'll have a net gain.
